The place looks amazing inside. More modern, clean, and fancy feeling, which really sets for a fun atmosphere. The food was great and the pricing was fair. Our server was very attentive and friendly and recommended great food/drink options. I loved how big the menu was and I will be coming back in the future to try different sushi/dishes on the menu. Place is busy and this place is looking very optimistic in terms of longevity. Great dinner option!

This is a fun experience for all ages(atleast 6-68). The show was fun and I included a video of part of the experience. The food was delicious. They have an amazing staff that worked hard to stay on everything. They were very positive and sang some fun songs for the kids. They did a broccoli flip that was amusing along with the egg tricks and onion volcano. My father went with orange beef. He can be critical of food and said this was his new favorite spot in town. My parents loved the food and sauces. We mainly had chicken and steak, but every one ate a good portion of their plate with left overs for later. They sang happy birthday a few times and had real conversations with us to give a family feeling. Overall I would recommend everyone try it atleast once to enjoy the show or form their own opinions. Jojo was our hibachi cook and all of us chanted for him at the end because he did a great job.

Dined in for lunch today! Everything was amazing! The Soft-She’ll Crab appetizer was crispy, and had great flavor! Husband ordered General Chicken that was well seasoned, and nicely coated in sauce! I order 2 sushi rolls, “Fresh Market” & “The Sea Monster” both were amazing, the fish was fresh, and good quality! I also ordered a 2 piece Escolar Nigiri.. BUTTER! Fred was a friendly, and efficient server! Can’t wait to go back and try the authentic Chinese dumplings, and the Wagyu Sando when the restaurant is fully equipped. Overall, excellent experience today! Glad to have a new spot open there.

Ordered the escolar sashimi, seaweed salad and rising sun roll. The escolar was partially cooked, which completely ruined the flavor and texture. I have never gotten sashimi like this anywhere. The seaweed salad was on point though.
The roll was weird. I have no idea what kind of… maybe white sauce? was supposed to be on it. But the tuna puree inside the roll was a total turn off. The exact reason that we never went back to Umiya. The sushi roll selection wasn’t great to begin with.
Also, my husband tried to order the grilled calamari, which was on the menu, but was told that they didn’t have it.
Definitely not promising. Might go back to try the hibachi, but definitely not soon.

In the beginning the manager was okay. But later, the Manager was rude and very pushy. It was a large group and he kept pushing that we needed to order or he was going to add more people to our table. Even through there was only 1 seat left.
Mahi Mahi dish was unpleasant! Dry and completely over cooked. Not worth the money! I ordered it as raw as possible. It was cut in half to cook faster and completely killed it for me. Not what I asked for.
Plus if sushi is served, my fish should have been given to me like I asked with no worries of serving raw fish.
Chicken dish was okay. Not the best, just okay.
The cooking guy was entertaining and friendly. Definitely over cooked the scrambled eggs for the fried rice. I would not have eaten it.
Emory was GREAT! SHE WAS AMAZING AND probably the only reason I didn’t walk out. Bus boy and other wait staff are great! Attentive and eager to clear dirty dishes from the hibachi grill.

Food was good,nothing amazing. The service was excellent. If I go back I will try the Habachi service. It’s definitely a solid B.

I had such an amazing experience at Osaki! My sister treated me to a birthday luncheon there with my daughter and nephew, and it was absolutely perfect. The ambience was beautiful and so peaceful — I really appreciated how quiet and relaxing it felt. The staff was incredibly pleasant and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and it truly made my day when they sang the Happy Bday song for me. Such a thoughtful touch!
The specialty drinks were also so good — definitely a highlight of the meal. Everything about the experience felt special and well put together. I will absolutely be adding Osaki to my go-to list whenever I’m visiting Corpus Christi, and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet. You won’t be disappointed!

Fred was an amazing server. This is a fairly new place. We gave it a try since another place was too crowded to even get in. We were definitely pleased and glad we stopped. The food was great. The hibachi server was engaged and entertaining. You can order off the menu as well. Fred said they do have plans to add more features such as a meeting room. Give it a try.
