Situé en plein cœur du quartier de Rive à Genève, Le Bánh Mì est un comptoir coloré inspiré des cantines de rue vietnamiennes. Le midi, place à une street food gourmande, à emporter ou à savourer sur place. Notre spécialité ? Le Bánh mì : un sandwich ultra frais composé de pâté, mayonnaise maison, viande marinée (porc croustillant, bœuf, poulet) ou légumes marinés, le tout servi dans un pain croustillant, entre baguette française et pain vietnamien. Le soir, notre cuisine change de rythme : nous accueillons des chefs du monde entier en résidence. Pendant quelques semaines, ils prennent possession des fourneaux et réinventent la gastronomie asiatique avec audace et créativité, pour une expérience unique à Genève.

I like the food, it’s delicious but the portions are small. The service is very good.
I don’t feel comfortable and cosy sitting on the plastic chair the typical Vietnamese chairs for street food in Vietnam. However, in Geneva the weather is cold hence, sitting on this kind of chair is really not good.
I am a Vietnamese, this restaurant is really reminds me of my country. In general I like it, just the chairs are out of my imagination .

I had a pleasant experience. The fresh lemonade was quite enjoyable, providing a refreshing taste. The shrimp summer rolls stood out as they were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. Additionally, I had the opportunity to try their chicken pho, which was a new experience for me because normally I order beef combination pho in other places. While the pho itself lacked a bit of flavor without the ginger sauce, once added, it provided a delightful kick. Overall, it was a positive dining experience, and I would recommend trying their dishes.

Service: service was great with friendly staff that keeps bringing tap water without asking
Food: Food is very overpriced (20+ chf per dosh for “tapas style” with recommendation to get 2 to 3 per person) and was very average that night (dumplings were good and so was the mango salad, noodles and brocoli were actually very bland and could definitely be replicated by an average cook at home
Atmosphere: Vibe is nice, place is cute and has a trendy design like a street food stand in asia

We discovered this gem of a restaurant in a little book of restaurants in Geneva, placed in our hotel room. Matthew is a very talented chef. The flavours were unusual in wonderful and interesting ways. Each dish was thoughtful and delicate. We would highly recommend dining here. 10/10 for the service also, which made the whole experience memorable!
