Arrived without booking on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was in full swing with lots of guests but the staff were still friendly and made room for us. First impressions of the ambience and atmosphere were great.
As to the food… the portions were generous and prepared with love and care. The slow cooked ox tail was most memorable because of the myriad of flavours (chocolate, sweet and slightly acidic) which complemented perfectly with the protein and fats of the meat.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Cacio & Pepe and would recommend anyone looking for a good eat near San Marino to consider this restaurant.

Very tasty, Roma style kitchen near San Marino hill. We made a reservation at 1900 on a Saturday, but it was probably fine without. Parking on site. Smallish menu but all is probably tasty. Had pasta and sausage, also some orange wine from Tuscany. Also had a daily menu to order from. Friendly service. Decent prices. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent and fresh. We didn’t try the desserts but they looked enormous and the large party next to said they were delicious. The chef was excited to share his skills and expressed it when we walked in. The service was prompt and kind. The pleasant patio allowed us to enjoy the summer evening. A plus is that they are open late in the summer, until 11pm, which helps after a long day of travel or sight seeing. Would recommend and visit again!

Perfect down-home cooking for a lunch or dinner after a visit up on Monte Titano. Great prices and nice ambience, all of course with great food coming to your table in big servings. Lovely outdoor area for a summer meal too!

Excellent authentic San Marino restaurant. They must have blinked 50 times when an Australian family walked through the door in the dead of San Marino’s winter, but we were treated excellently and the food was delicious and well priced.
