My new favorite!!!I’m no expert on Chinese food, but one bite into the shrimp house special, made me think, “I’ll never eat pancakes again.” (This dish tastes nothing like pancakes, just pancakes used to be my favorite meal). The pasta/ramen whatever was so delicious, so light and airy, I was loading up as much as my fork could carry. Sooo good! I had ordered Pai Gau Chicken for my friend (it was the only dish I knew, for sure, how to pronounce) And he wiped his dish out too. If I wouldn’t have had company I probably would have licked the plate, it was that good! another cool thing, I ordered full meal for two people, and two sodas and an extra rice on the side, and the grand total was $25! The portions were generous and the food fantastic. And the fortune cookies were a pleasant surprise. Note: This spot does not have in-person dining! It is takeout and delivery only! But it’s only two blocks from the Hudson and the piers, so get some take out and go find a place to eat. You won’t be disappointed, guaranteed! the spot is convenient to the M8 bus, the M20, and the 1 Train (Christopher Street & 7th Ave). a couple blocks further is the A trains’ West 4th Station, and there is a city bike rack right around the corner! See you there!

I used to eat here all the time, for years, when I worked at the theater across the street. The food was always tasty in the past.
Not today!
Today I worked nearby, so I ordered the boneless spare rib lunch special and the beef teriyaki. The boneless spare ribs, as you can see from the picture is simply sliced fried pork.
Looks like fried pork, tastes like fried pork. Plus tough and chewy. These are sliced pork chips. The whole dish was not goid. Not enough seasoning on the rice, either. Not remotely worth $16! If I had not ordered duck sauce and soy sauce packets, it would be flavorless food.
The beef teriyaki was actually beef teriyak, but it tasted just okay, kind of bland, kind of dry. Duck sauce to the rescue!
Thankfully GrubHub refunded me right away. I called the restaurant because I wanted to see what they’d say, having always had good food from them in the past. Older guy on the phone just gaslighted me saying: YOU’RE the only one that complained – he said over and over, when I said this is fried pork slices not boneless ribs. He never admitted that they are not serving actual boneless spare ribs. Then he just kept saying “Well that’s the way we make it here.”
Well then stop lying on your menu and calling it boneless spare ribs – because you already have the option for fried pork on your menu elsewhere!
I actually have to throw it away, which I never do. Really disappointing experience all around! I used to love this place.

I’ve been coming here for over a decade, and I just wanted to say how rare this place truly is in NYC. The consistency, the care, and the way you run this as a genuine family business is something special.
The food is always delicious, the kitchen team is so fast and just incredible people, and everything, yeah EVERYTHING on the menu is genuinely on point. I’ve tried just about all they have on their lineup over the years, especially the boneless spare ribs – which by the way ARE MY FAVORITE! The way they make them is exactly how I love them, and they’ve been one of my go-to orders for years.
I keep coming back because it’s a staple I trust and have never had a negative experience.
Even on my workout grind, my almost daily lunch order is steamed chicken, white rice, sauce on the side – simple, clean, and always so good.
This is also the place I always bring friends when they visit NYC, or recommend for ordering in. It’s one of my hidden gems… not so hidden anymore.
In a city where so many places chase trends and burn out, you’ve built something steady, honest, and lasting. This isn’t just a restaurant to me – it’s part of my NYC life.

Came here 7:00pm on a Saturday all the way from nj . The older man taking the order was so rude ! Spent $36 dollars Then we asked to use the bathroom he ignored us then asked again he said no . I really enjoyed the food here but after being treated rude & denied the restroom after spending money there is wild . I won’t be coming back after years of enjoying food here . The wings are still good tho

I was in nyc this week & needed to stop by & I was happy I did the chicken wings were so crispy you could actually hear the crispy crunch when yu bit into it . The chicken was so hot & fresh I had to put it down from so hot it was . Not complaining !! The veggie fried rice was delicious too ! I never leave Google reviews but if there’s one restaurant in NYC that deserves it, it’s this one. This is THE ONLY Chinese food restaurant I’ll ever order takeout from and I have been for years. Their food is always exceptional, very affordable, order is NEVER incorrect in the slightest bit, the portions are huge, the staff is so welcoming and thankful for supporting their business every time I pop in, and they offer free delivery from their website that always arrives within 10-15 minutes of placing the order. Really have to hand it to these guys for running such a great business – wish more places had service and really good affordable food like this. 10/10 recommend everything on the menu.

Ordered delivery via Grubhub and got the chicken with broccoli combination plate that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll, and added a pint of vegetable lo mein. It was pretty good, esp the egg roll, but the lo mein noodles were a bit overcooked. It’s reasonably priced and huge portions. I liked that they give you fortune cookies to enjoy after which restaurants these days don’t give anymore. Would probably order from here again.

Food here Is very delicious and very affordable. I’ve been going to this particular Chinese Food restaurant for 20 years. I know the people who work there very well and they’ve always treated me but the most respect. Not to mention their food is head and shoulders above other similar restaurants in terms of quality and taste. When I have a cold, I order the chicken soup with rice from this restaurant when I need a late night snack I order the boneless spareribs from this restaurant. When I want to have something healthy I order the Budda delight. This place has something for everyone and every different kind of event.
