Tables were really bad… a old local drunk was having a very bad day n kinda ruined the mood for us. Small town cliches should be more open to us business men coming into town to spend money. Drinks were well priced tho!

Years ago we were in Gettysburg on a pheasant hunt. Thanksgiving night we tried to find something to eat and the only place with any signs of life was this bar. We walked in and they let us know that they were closed for a family dinner they were having there. As we turned to leave one of people yelled to us to come back because, “far enough back we are all family”. We stayed and ate with them and had the best thanksgiving I can remember. Such kind and hospitable people. We even ended up hunting with a few of them in the following few days. I doubt the owners even remember or will ever see this, but we still talk about them and their kindness to this day.

I was in town for work. Walked in all, the regulars started. Making jokes made me feel like I was in my own Hometown. Great place, Mike was awesome.

A really nice couple own & run this local bar. Kristine & Carl. They will chat you up, pour generous drinks and find out why you’re passing through town. The other patrons were friendly and courteous. Lots of games playing on the many TV’s.
We didn’t eat there, so can’t review that aspect – but the bar side of the building was a lot of fun.
Plenty of parking nearby.
