Just picked up a buffet plate to go and some combination fried rice. None of it was seasoned and did not taste good! The rice had hardly anything in it – no meat, no shrimp, no veggies.. The food used to be so much better. I travel from Broussard to buy it from Kim’s….very dissapointing!…won’t be back any time soon!

Online it shows they close at 9:00 p.m. I called at 8:36 and they said thank you for calling Kim’s. We’re closed. I said didn’t. I didn’t know y’all were closing early. They said we stopped taking orders at 8:40 and it was 8:36 and they wouldn’t take my order. If your restaurant closes at 9:00 you stop taking orders at 9:00

Good quality Chinese food for a decent price
I ordered to go from the menu, and the food was done in about 20 minutes. Portions were generous, and the food tasted grate . I had the green onions delight with treasure island stake as an appetizer. I would definitely recommend the green onion delight. The treasure island stake in flavor was good, but the meat was a bit tough . My wife had the combination Fried Rice with Chinese chicken Wings, and both got a thumbs-up. My total was about 36 dollars overall, worth it for the amount and quality of food received.

Kim’s is fabulous! I will drive two hours to eat here. The egg rolls are extraordinary! The buffet isn’t huge, but it is fresh, and the classics are there.

Ordered to-go, Buddha’s Delight and vegetable spring rolls, at first the lady said they didn’t have any tofu on the menu, but when I got my food there was tofu in it, which I was glad bc I wanted tofu. Excellent dish imo, tofu was cooked perfectly

Always delicious, literally the reason I come to visit New Iberia (outside of family). I’ve been eating with these amazing folks for all my 37 years of life. Much love to this place and many many years to come. The Kim’s special Hunan chicken and Hunan fish are brilliantly unique in all the best ways. Buffet is fairly good, but the home made dishes are made with a level of love and skill rarely found anymore. Ever so consistent, it brings back every great memory of eating here from the past.

I went when they were about to close and they could have easily not closed the kitchen since they were closing soon to avoid making to much food but they made more food for the buffet so me and others were able to get fresh food that we wanted

Buffet has a large variety of food to choose from and is priced by weight, so you are able to have a little of everything to taste to decide which items you like best. This is to go orders only. I have tried everything they have to offer and haven’t been disappointed with not even one item.
Their egg drop soup is the best in town by far.
