Our order was two pepperoni personal pizzas one with light sauce and when we arrived at home. I have to say i haven’t been so mad in quite some time but i am livid at this point. This is unacceptable and especially if it just came out of the oven supposedly .. Neither pizza looked like they even have cheese on them or sauce n they barely have pepperoni .. this is ridiculous .We spent our money and time to drive clear across town and to go pick up the worst pizzas ive ever seen. The woman at the front doesn’t seem to know how to keep the orders coming they are all sitting in the warmer while people wait It’s absurd to be honest. But they are quick to ask for the tip tho.. I gotta tip for them Do Better if you are under staffed then hire more people and make pizzas that do not look like this ..pics provided
I ordered a large pizza with dessert and sauces for delivery about 830 on a Tuesday. I looked at the estimated time 15 minutes later and it said 114min. So I called and asked if it was accurate the lady said yes the deliveries are backed up. So I said I would go pick it up instead. She called back and said her driver could drop off my food on her way to another delivery and would be about 20 minute wait so I said that’s fine. 45 minutes passes so I called the store and they told me the person couldn’t find my address and called my phone and I didn’t answer.(I have a hungry pregnant girlfriend waiting on her food. I was sitting by the door and phone the whole time) Then was told my food could be delivered after the rest of the orders were done so I decided to pick it up myself.
Upon returning to the store the lady said she would give me a discount but then when I get home i found out she charged my card double!! On top of that my order was extra cheese (look at the pictures and you decide) then I had to go back to the store because she gave me ranch instead of garlic butter sauce. Needless to say this was a $70 mistake that I’m out and won’t be ordering from pizza hut again.
Update: You’ll thank me later! When George is the working chef, you get fabulous, perfectly cooked pizza. Tonight, we got the new double pepperoni with hot honey on thin and crispy crust. He knocked it out of the park again. Super crispy, perfectly portioned toppings, and ample hot honey! Yum! Thanks, George!
What made the experience worse was the manager’s attitude—unapologetic and dismissive. I even overheard her say, “We aren’t giving any discounts, we’re busy.” Thankfully, the younger staff members were more understanding and offered free cheesy bread to make up for the inconvenience.
Still, the lack of accountability and poor customer service from management means I won’t be returning. They lost a customer tonight.
*edited to add…the manager reached out a few days after this review and made a good faith effort to make things right. I haven’t ordered again yet but will try them once more because I appreciate when management does their best and tries to make the customer happy even when mistakes are made.
***2nd edit a year later. Still a horrible location! I ordered the “NEW” tavern style pizza. Looked EXACTLY LIKE THE ONE PICTURED FROM LAST YEAR that I ordered which was thin crust. Barely any sauce. Pizza arrived 20 minutes past the expected time and COLD. cheese was stiff. Toppings dried out. Idk what’s up with this location but definitely not worth the $50!!!! Could’ve fed my family much better for that price. Horrible horrible!!!!
I ordered a pizza. It was 7:07 PM and it said it would be ready in 14 minutes.
Well, that didn’t happen. They kept saying it was the next pizza, but it wasn’t. Several orders went out. The manager told the guy on cut table wearing street clothes and was bare handed reaching into his pants to pull up his pants that the next order was mine. It wasn’t, and neither were the next 4 or 5.
It was 30+ minutes late, and then they made it wrong. They cooked the tomatoes, so the manager told them to take it off and then recook it. They burned it.
When they were done burning the pizza, they tell me now they are out of tomatoes.
I asked for a refund since I paid cash.
They don’t do refunds.
I asked to speak to the manager on duty.
She said she does not give refunds.
I told her I wanted my money back.
She said only the general manager can do that but he won’t be in for 3 days on Monday morning.
I told them to call the general manager because I wanted my money back.
15 minutes later, they are ready to give me my money back.
It took 55 minutes.
They offered me the burnt pizza, but I did not want it. She said it had all the other ingredients and was fine and then she showed me.
It did not have the pesto drizzle, so she put it on the entire pizza, which was wrong. It was suppose to be on the margherita half, not the ultimate half.
They made it with the wrong pepperoni as well. It was suppose to be the small crispy curly kind.
Not only did it not have the tomatoes, but they also did not have the garlic.
Not to mention they were out of the sweet marinara sauce.
And they refused to give me a refund? They had to waste my time? I should have been in and out in 15 minutes or so.
I wasted over an hour and 5 minutes total arguing about me getting my cash back!
For a burnt pizza, made wrong, and missing ingredients.
NEVER AGAIN!
