Bagel Boyz’s “Gluten Free bagel” is TINY and for the size, it is tasty but definitely overpriced. It looked like the batter was squeezed out of a tube and then baked. Now, I expect additional charges for gluten free foods. Everywhere charges extra for GF. It is the size that bothered me, since their GF bagel is HALF the size of a normal bagel, it does NOT seem fair that they charge $2 more for it. Paying $3.50 for a bagel that is 1/2 to 1/3 of a normal size bagel was aggravating. I’ll post pictures.
The breakfast sandwich my boyfriend got was on a regular roll. He said it was definitely not fresh baked and tasted like a dry Sam’s Club roll.
Disappointed. We thought the muffins looked better than they wound up. So again, it was disappointing. The muffins were 3.75 each which seemed like too much. My daughter couldn’t stand her Nutella muffin. My boyfriend said it was “all right .” He said the same thing about pumpkin chocolate chip.

The experience was great and I loved the bacon egg and cheese bagel. The girl behind the counter was great! Don’t know her name but she had red hair. The sandwich and service was mad good. Loved this place! After I got the sandwich I went and sat on the beach and enjoyed my breakfast

This bagel shop is genuinely one of the best local spots I have ever been to. The bagels are always fresh, warm, and perfectly made, and the staff treats every customer with real kindness. You can tell the family running it truly cares about their food and their community. Every time I visit the service is fast, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the quality is consistent. It is disappointing to see people spread things that are not true because my experiences here have always been great. If you want amazing food and people who actually put pride into what they do, this is the place to support.

I haven’t been to this place in months due to 1. Trying to make me pay for more than what I ordered 2. Being very stingy. I ordered 60 bagels one time and got nothing as a thank you; while other places give free bagels. They are also over priced.
But my wife wanted me to go last week to get pumpkin bagels for our children.
I walk in the store while it’s basically empty and place an order for two cream cheese and bacon bagels and 2 plain pumpkin bagels.
It starts to get busy with phone call orders and people piling in.
Next thing you know the woman in the front starts calling people by name that she recognizes and has them come get their order.
20 minutes go by and I’m shocked my order is not “ready” while all these people that walked in after me are getting their orders.
I walk up to the counter and I ask where is my order? It’s just two bagels with cream cheese and bacon and two plain pumpkin bagels. The black haired woman is looking lost as she always does and the owner pretends to look around. The lady that took my order had to come and show her that it was right on the counter the whole time.
Not even a “sorry, I wasn’t paying attention I didn’t see your order right in front of my face.”
I got home, it was cold. Very little cream cheese. $25 for this order that sucks. My wife wasn’t happy with hers as well.
I will not be back. This place has became a big disappointment for satisfaction.

Great staff, they get to know you if your a repeat customer. I’ve been going for the last 6+ months and nothing but great people and amazing muffins!

Excellent and friendly service. Large selection of bagels, drinks, and chips. They also offer sandwiches, wraps, and fries! I have celiac so I’m unable to eat most items there, but they’re a huge hit with my husband and children!

We love this place. It’s a mom/pop business with friendly staff. We live in VA but when passing through Jersey, we always stop by Bagel Boyz! It’s worth the 30-mile detour. All their bagels are delicious and HUGE! We have tried other bagel places in NYC/NJ, but this place is the best! The owners Mama Joyce and her son Rob are very kind. They gave us extra bagels and cupcakes for the road when we told them we’re driving back to VA. Mama Joyce even gave us a shortcut to the Turnpike! Looking forward to our next visit!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Staff is like family: so thoughtful, kind and joking! Food is fresh & delicious; and served with LOVE. Prices are very reasonable. The chef Tejeda is a culinary master. How does he julienne those veggies to look like little jewels in my omelette?! René & Staff are constantly wiping, vacuuming, mopping. It shows as the place is IMMACULATE! Robby, the owner, named Bagel Boyz after his 3 little sons. Its wonderful to be support a local, family-owned business who really puts forth so much effort to make the customer feel like royalty.
