Traspatio ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our time in Los Cabos. From the moment we walked into the intimate open-air courtyard, we knew we were in for something special. The setting feels like a hidden backyard oasis — soft lighting, light music playing in the background, and a cozy, romantic atmosphere that still feels relaxed and welcoming.
The food was phenomenal.
We started with the Tuétanos (bone marrow), which was rich and perfectly roasted, topped with charred corn, fresh radishes, and Serrano chiles that added brightness and just the right amount of heat. It was indulgent without being overwhelming — an incredible starter.
The Queso Fundido with chistorra sausage was everything you want it to be — bubbling, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the smoky, slightly spicy chistorra. Comfort food elevated.
For our main, we had the ribeye, and it was outstanding. Cooked beautifully, deeply flavorful, and high quality. Every bite reinforced how much care goes into the food here.
What really stood out was the value. The quality of the dishes rivals some of the higher-end restaurants in Cabo, yet the pricing felt more than fair. Based on food quality and overall experience, this easily ranks among our favorite dinners of the trip.
The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the night, which made the entire experience feel even more special.
If you’re looking for an intimate setting, exceptional food, and great value in Los Cabos, Traspatio is a must.

Beware! The food is alright and the atmosphere was good. ( I was the only table when I dine). The waitress brought water and a bottle of OFF mosquito spray, saying you going to need it . The weird thing is they charge a 19% VAT, which never happens during my time in Cabo. Didn’t want to argue, paid the tap and left.

We had an amazing experience at Traspatio! We ordered the ribeye steak and the grilled octopus, both were absolutely incredible. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, and everything was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Hands down this is officially my favorite restaurant in San Jose now. Cute, rustic garden ambiance with chill music playing tucked into a local neighborhood. Every person in our group loved their meal — the ribs, flank steak, empanadas, grilled caesar, and mushroom tacos were all delicious. The service was prompt and delightful. Save room for dessert, the brownie with ice cream was a perfect ending to a perfect meal.

I rarely say this about any restaurant, but everything I ate here was fantastic! Our meal started with the kindest staff. They were so welcoming and attentive. It was like a 5-star experience. We started with a super fresh salad with cranberries and candied walnuts… the dressing was perfect and not too strong. I had the cowboy steak, and it was cooked to a perfect med-rare, and its tenderness was only rivaled by its amazing flavor. And to top it off, the baked potato was a wonderful side with all the tasty additions.
The location was so calm and quaint and filled with unique style it was a very nice change from the “starile resort” settings everywhere else. We loved the live music. It was a mix of local and English tunes played by a very talented (assumed) father and son…so cute.
We will absolutely come back here when we visit.

Great service, setting, and amazing steaks! We tried all 3 steaks they had, the cowboy, ribeye, and skirt steak. All are cooked to perfection on the grill. The vegetables were also very tasty.
Definitely worth the visit, an underrated steakhouse in Cabo. Probably one of the best given the price point and quality of food!

Went here as our “fancy” dinner on our trip. Such a cute place, we loved the atmosphere. There was a chef grilling the meat and seafood on an outdoor grill. They served toasted bread with a olive tapanade that was delicious. My husband and I both ordered steaks that were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. They also came with baked potatoes, and the potatoes were so good! Our server was so kind and another server offered to take pictures of us which was nice.

They had great food! There was a music man playing and singing very well. I ordered the cowboy and it was perfect. Best steak I have eaten. Service was awesome. I highly recommend this place.

Off the beaten path, this restaurant is fabulously decorated modern chic. Outdoor patio is very welcoming while the service and food met all of our expectations. They had a fabulous little cocktail menu (the spritz was spot on) and a wine list that complemented their menu very well. Everything was very well priced in my opinion, and absolutely delicious. We loved this place!
