This me and my family’s first time here since we are traveling and we love Asian food and cafe east was the nearest. This is the BEST Asian food I’ve ever had from restaurants the food taste is just like a homemade meal made with so much love and culture, the service is amazing the inside of the place is comfy! Their chicken was AMAZING! Absolutely extraordinary, 10/10

Cafe East has by far the best Asian fusion menu in the area. I’ve tried quite a few dishes here and have never been disappointed. The dine in service is absolutely phenomenal as well, they go above and beyond. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Definitely check it out.

Outstanding sushi. It’s hard to find a place that does octopus well as sushi and they nail it. Also quality mackerel, scallop, tomato, and unagi.
The general tsos had a crispy breading and the sauce was not overly sweet or salty. Most of their sauces where not overly sweet or salty. Cafe East has a very positive reputation and I see why.

Godzilla was good, hard to screw up deep fried spicy tuna.
Red tuna and avocado peanut. Very loose, falling apart, can eat with chopsticks before disintegrating.
General tso, not crispy at all, not even close to having any spice . Might as well be sweet and sour chicken.
Im not coming back
After $50 for mediocrity. Nope.

We weren’t here for a late lunch and it was amazing! The fish tasted amazing and fresh, they may be my favorite sushi place now! The crab Rangoon was stuffed with the perfect filling & they were very friendly!

Everything was very good here – definitely recommend it! My husband and I went here for the first time and he says that it’s probably his favorite Chinese restaurant in Lancaster.
The food was very good quality and delicious. Prices are higher than a takeout Chinese restaurant, but are still reasonable, especially considering the good quality and great service here.
I had the panang curry, want it was really good and flavorful. My husband got the general tso dish and he loved it. Everything was great here!

Second visit. Food still good, but felt it was not at the quality of our previous visit. Service still excellent. Adjusted rating and review accordingly. Recommend the chicken and broccoli and the general tso’s chicken. Lunch portions were very generous. The service was excellent. Waitress was very helpful, friendly, and attentive. Worth the drive.

They gave pre dinner crispy noodles and duck sauce to snack on. I thought that was a nice touch.
Food was delicious and flavorful! I got gyoza and wonton soup. My dad got Singapore Mi Fun. He said it was the best he’s had.
Service was fine. They were quick with bringing out our food.
Nice calming jazz was playing in the background. The facility seemed clean.
Overall, would def come back.

Last time going here. This was a family favorite for a long time. The last four times we’ve ordered we have either got the wrong order or when we go to pick up it takes 20 to 30 minutes longer than they told us. No longer willing to deal with the unpredictable service. The final straw was being gaslit by the staff who looked at me and told me that they said it would be 60-70 minutes, rather than the 40 they said over the phone. But even if they had said 60-70 minutes, it took over 80.

Looking over some of the 3 star and under reviews and most seem to be hard to believe. My family and I go to Cafe East often. We have never experienced sub par food. Also many people that it is also a go to spot.
If someone is complaining about price increases i just have one question for them. What in your life has not had a price increase? Sure hope you don’t review a grocery store because the next time you buy milk you may be in shock.
