Lebanon , Beirut.
A small venue with a modern, trendy design. The name stands for Burgers and Cocktails. There is also a small terrace outside, while large panoramic windows bring plenty of light inside, creating a cozy yet stylish atmosphere.
FOOD:
The menu focuses on burgers and small snacks, along with a cocktail selection — exactly as the name suggests. We visited twice, so we had the chance to try quite a few items.
The Wagyu burger was excellent. The patty (around 200 g) was juicy and rich, literally melting in the mouth. It was made from clean neck meat without tough bits — exactly what you want in a burger. The bun also deserves special mention: soft, airy, and well balanced, complementing the meat without adding an overpowering bread flavor.
We also tried two regular beef burgers: one with cabbage and miso, and another more classic version with caramelized onions. Both were high quality, featuring thick patties where you can choose the doneness — we ordered medium. The flavor of the beef wasn’t as pronounced as the Wagyu and was slightly overshadowed by the sauces, but they were still very good burgers.
The fish burger with sea bass had a nice flavor balance and a good bun, but the piece of fish was a bit too thin and got slightly lost inside the sandwich.
We also appreciated their presentation: fries are served in martini-style cocktail glasses, which fits perfectly with the burger-and-cocktail concept of the place.
The shrimp tacos were also simple but very tasty.
SERVICE:
Service was friendly and relaxed. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and the food arrived quickly. The team clearly knows what they’re doing — efficient and professional.
VERDICT:
A great place with high-quality burgers and a fun concept. The Wagyu burger in particular stands out. The design and atmosphere make it a great spot for a casual meal or meeting friends.
I ordered the shrimp tacos (7/10), fried chicken (9/10), miso BBQ burger (9/10), and the classic burger (9/10). I highly recommend choosing the 200g patty for a richer and better overall taste.
Overall, I strongly recommend this place to everyone looking for a great burger experience in Beirut.
Do not miss it when in Beirut!
Highly recommended: WAGUY Burger 200g, medium, lobster rolls, grilled beef with truffle & caramel sauce.
Overall, the food and atmosphere are good, but better handling of reservations would improve the experience.
We had the special of the month, very original, where you would dip the burger in onion soup. Will be definitely going for the more regular burger next time
