We are on vacation here in Myrtle Beach and were looking for some great Chinese Takeout for Super Bowl. The food we got was amazing! The Moo Shu Pork was super tasty. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was some of the best I’ve had. But the Pork Fried Rice was the real treat. It was, without a doubt, the most uniquely flavored Fried Rice I have ever had the pleasure to eat. I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed the food. I was also very pleased with the prices…..especially for food of this quality!!

Ordered General Tso’s chicken online with an extra egg roll. I like that you can specify the level of spicy. Received confirmation the order had been received and also notification when it was ready to pickup. Food was ready when I arrived. Quick and friendly checkout. Condiments and chopsticks available. Delicious and still hot (and crispy egg rolls) when I got home.

Updating the post – you can see original exchange below.

I returned and received the replacement Singapore Mai Fun. It was very good and again a large portion.

We also ordered Moo Shu Pork and it was exceptional. Very rich flavors and a generous portion.

This is basically a typical NYC take out Chines restaurant. Good quality and nice portions.

Original exchange:

First time trying and was excited to see Singapore Mai Fun on the menu.

I was disappointed as it was very bland. It was a very good portion but lacked seasoning. Typically this dish has a strong curry component and this had no curry flavor at all.

I also had steamed dumplings and they were very good.

See picture of the Singapore Mai Fun. Typically it has a brown or green coloring but this was just white.

Might give it a try again and maybe discuss seasoning up front.

Owner responded and indicated a mistake was made and that they would provide the correct dish next time I stop by.

Will take a week or so to stop by again but will give it a shot and update the review.

Really good! I ended up getting the Kung Pao Chicken and garlic wings. The Kung Pao chicken was great, and the all white-meat chicken was accompanied by fresh veggies like green peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini. I was visiting from out of town and was impressed by the quality and quantity of the entree. The wings were OK, a little too saucy for my liking.

We’ve tried several Chinese food places around Myrtle and haven’t found one we like. Decided to try this place tonight and was impressed. Everything was very good especially the wonton soup, fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The prices are amazing for the quality and portions. We will 100% be back

I love Chinese food. I went to school and worked in lower Manhattan for several decades and ate in Chinatown very frequently. I found the Myrtle Beach Chinese food lacking and was forever looking for a good Chinese restaurant.

I’ve had food from Bei Jing three times now. My first experience was wonderful. The dum sum was tasty, and well prepared. My shrimp and lobster sauce was not soupy as in . EVERY other MB Chinese restaurant.

For my second experience I had general chao’s chicken. It was overcooked and dry.i ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce for my third order. Unlike my previous experience, it was watery and lacked some of the flavor I expected.

Just to be fair, we had dim dum all three times and it was wonderful. The wonton and hot and sour soup was always excellent. The one spring roll we had was mediocre.

So, my take on Bei Jing is that it can be very good, but they are not consistently good. I am still looking for a consistently good place.

A final note: I’ve only had food from Bei Jing that was delivered by Uber Eats. My experience with my Uber has always been excellent

I want to start by saying the beef lo meun and egg rolls were fine. But the reason for only 3 stars is because I ordered a shrimp and mixed veggies before and there were plenty of shrimp. This time I pay over 13.00 for four shrimp. Really disappointed since the beef was loaded in the lo mein.

If we’re in the mood for Chinese and just want to eat at home, this is our place for takeout. Plenty of options and the amount they give you is worth it. Better and less expensive than other Chinese restaurants near us.
