My husband and I would regularly order from McAlister’s in Lebanon, TN. The last 2 orders in as many weeks have been packed without the sides we ordered. I finally called the restaurant out of frustration, and the person who answered the phone was so very rude. Put me on “hold” to go get the manager, I could hear everything they were saying, and never once did the manager come to the phone. After waiting for 11 minutes and 17 seconds someone grabs the phone and just hangs up on me without a word! Well, needless to say we will not be conducting any further business with McAllister’s

McAllister’s is delicious! They offer soups, salads, sandwiches, and HUGE baked potatoes (spuds). They have fresh sweet tea and lemonade too. Love their cookies! I usually get the “Mix-n-match” special for $10.95. The staff has always been friendly, the service is great- considering it’s NOT a restaurant- it’s fast food. They’re affordable, and the atmosphere is nice, up to date, and clean. I highly recommend.

Great new eatery in Lebanon, TN. If you’ve never eaten at McAlisters Deli, it’s a modified counter service – order at counter, they bring it to you and clean up real dishes. They will even refill your drinks. Plenty of outside dining too, although situated near pick up window. Sweet tea is amazing!

I tried this restaurant twice after it opened and would have given it 1 star back primarily based on service. The 3rd time I attempted to go to this restaurant I was told it would be at least 45 minutes for a to-go order. The manager explained they had staffing issues. I refrained from posting a review at the time.
Today the dining room was nearly empty. There were only 2 tables occupied. The first thing I noticed were half a dozen tables that hadn’t been cleaned, garbage on the floors, trash on the counter tops, overflowing garbage cans, and dirty welcome mats.
When I opened our order the first thing I noticed was how tiny our sandwiches were. They are literally half the size of the “You Pick Two” from Panera. They also left out our pickle spears even though we had requested them. The sandwiches were decent but I don’t see the value.
Location gets 4 stars.
Food gets 3 stars.
Service gets 3 stars.
Cleanliness gets 2 stars.
Value gets 2 star.
It’s a shame because this restaurant has so much potential.

I wanted to share my recent experience, as I believe it reflects an area that needs attention. I waited in the pick-up line for about 20 minutes before deciding to park and walk inside to get my order. The dining area was quiet, and the two young ladies at the counter were very kind and helpful in assisting me right away.
Unfortunately, as I was leaving, the manager made a sarcastic comment: “Thanks so much for waiting.” This came across as unprofessional and unnecessary. I wasn’t the first person to come inside, and after such a long wait in line, I was simply trying to get my order and head home to feed my kids after softball practice.
I completely understand that restaurants get busy, but a manager should set the tone with professionalism and courtesy. The other staff members showed exactly the kind of service that makes customers want to return, but the manager’s attitude left a very different impression. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as experiences like this truly affect whether customers feel comfortable coming back.

I find some McAlister’s to be better than others. This was a good one. In general, my wife and I love McAlister’s and often eat there when we travel. They are a little pricey, but really good sandwiches and tea.

Overall, good experience! My boyfriend and I both did the pick 2 options. I did the 1/2 club, on a croissant, no tomato and a side of broccoli cheddar soup. My boyfriend did the 1/2 grilled chicken club with broccoli cheddar soup.
Aside from them over toasting my croissant and putting tomato on my sandwich, it was good. Next time I’ll ask them not to toast my bread. The soup was good. My boyfriend was pleased with his food!

This is my favorite lunch spot in Lebanon. Food is tasty, large portions, healthy, and good priced.
However, the best part is that Megan the manager has done a phenomenal job building a great team that delivers phenomenal customer service. Every time I’m in here I’m pleasantly surprised at the team members that go out of the way to make my experience amazing. Not what you’d expect from a chain restaurant.
