I went here for lunch since I was craving for Vietnamese food. The pictures on the menu looks great. I ordered a small pho simply asian, and it was pretty small. It came with a few slices of beef, and 1 meatballs that’s cut in half. If you’re looking for a traditional Vietnamese meatballs, these aren’t it. The broth was rich but lack of flavor and didn’t have the distinct pho fragrance.
I also ordered a Korean meat banh mi and it was quite a disappointing. It was very bland, and the meat was tough and chewy. It also was lacking of any flavor.

I really enjoy the Thai coconut chicken , sooo good its delicious. I also ask for no cilantro because if you dont like it its used in allot of Asian dishes . Very yummy and fresh . Although I wish more chicken came in the large Thai coconut soup but its still worth the price.

Friendly owners and food was very tasty. The coconut Thai soup with chicken and pulled pork banh mi combo is what I ordered. Both were packed with flavor. Couldn’t finish it all so took the rest home. We will be back.

My first time trying this establishment, menu had a good amount of variety and good prices on everything. The service was great too, i got takeout and the waitress sat me while i waited and brought me my drink ( iced ginger mint lemonade) very refreshing, i ordered the lemongrass beef bahn mi (not a traditional bahn mi bun but still a fresh and good bun) and the lemongrass beef noodle bowl witch was served with nuoc cham. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and was still a good temperature by time i got back to my hotel. If you’re in the area and looking for something different i definitely recommend this place.

Just a little hole in the wall. My fiancée and I came here because I was craving pho. The pho was delicious and very filling. The service was great and the gentleman was so kind and friendly. Good was hot and the Korean dumplings were amazing and super tasty. I would definitely come back here there was so many items on the menu that I’d love to try. The prices were super reasonable that’s why this place is 5 stars. Clean washrooms and wonderful atmosphere.

Visited Simply Asian (again) yesterday and had a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and full of flavour (as expected), you can really tell Sai put care into each dish. What made it even better was the service. Sai, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He took the time to introduce us to the menu, explain the different options, and make sure we had everything we needed.

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, clean, and everything is reasonably priced, making it a great spot if you’re looking for something tasty without breaking the bank. Definitely worth the time and money, we’ll be back as always.

Wonderful food and options for many people. The lemongrass sauce is such a great balance of fresh and gently sour. Good portions. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing. Great atmosphere. Try it!

This is a mixed review with some very good highlights and a few minor things that could use improving.

My friend and I popped in here on a Friday night. I was very impressed with the variety on the menu. Soups, dumplings, rice bowls, bahn mi. There was a lot to choose from. My friend chose a chicken rice bowl and she loved hers. I opted for the coconut soup and half Korean Beef Bahn mi. The prices were very reasonable at around $13-$14 for each combo. I loved the flavours in my soup – it was a Thai Coconut shrimp. The small bowl was actually quite filling. It had 3 large shrimp in it and lots of noodles and vegetables. My small critique was that I wish it was a little hotter temperature wise but I still enjoyed it a lot. The Bahn mi was okay. There were aspects that I really liked. The bread was so good. The meat just a little too chewy for me and I didn’t taste much of the gochuchang. It wasn’t my favourite. I didn’t complain because really, it could be just my preference. I would definitely try this combo again and maybe try a different meat in the sandwich. But there are also tons of other things on the menu I want to try.

We tried the ginger mint lemonade and we both liked it.

UPDATE: Have since been back a few more times. And tried something different every time. I love the dumplings with the gochujang on them. I’ve had the Asian pulled pork and it was good. My favourite so far has been the Korean Chicken noodle bowl. I love all the fresh ingredients in the bowl. I do like to spice things up bit. So I appreciate that there are condiments at the table, hoisin and sriracha.

The service was really good. It was obvious the owner has a lot of pride in the place and was very hands on. It’s clear he wants people to have a very good experience. I appreciated that. He was also very good to answer questions and provide recommendations. Update: this place has lots of regulars which is a credit to them. The owner takes pride in knowing his customers and remembers us when we visit now.

The atmosphere was fine. Bright and colourful. About 7 tables I think. The only critique I have here was that the cars park right next to the building and when they pull in or out you are blinded by headlights if you are facing the door. Especially if they decide to sit in their cars for a minute before pulling away. They could probably use some blinds or something here to filter the lights.

I will definitely come back here. There was so much on the menu I still want to try. I could slurp down some of that soup right now!

Pretty good lunch spot, I had the Korean rice bowl and the flavours were good / ingredients seemed fresh. I would have liked the beef to be a little more cooked / hot but. I did ask for takeout, though didn’t wait very long before eating.

Pho was kinda bland, broth was beef “meat” forward and otherwise not particularly boney nor savoury nor sweet nor spiced. I left a bit hungry still, even with the large. Not bad, just not traditional – served with cilantro instead of basil… The other pho spot in Dartmouth always hits the spot.

I’d still go back to try the other dishes, they had an Indian Viet fusion dish on special that sounded cool.
