We have eaten here twice now. Both times the food was excellent flavor with very generous portions. We both had left overs for multiple meals. They serve warm chips with salsa when you first sit down. Delicious! We definitely will make this our favorite Mexican restaurant.

The owner is super friendly and that person, alone makes me want to go back. I understand they have sell-out Fish Fridays which says a lot about the quality of the food. Great value for money. The portions are Huge. Try the Sombrero’s special burrito. The sauce is unique and so flavorful. I wish they would put it in a jar. I would definitely buy it.

I have eaten here a number of times. I like the menu pretty well. They have good prices and I’ve had good service. The atmosphere is typical for a Mexican restaurant but I’ve found that’s it’s easy to hold a conversation here as it’s not really loud and I can usually get a table far enough away from other diners so that I can hear, it’s important to me as I’m hearing impaired.

Servers were nice and accommodating, othwise this is a very generic Americanized Mexican restaurant. They add mushrooms to a lot of dishes and cut the Guacamole with sour cream.
Food took a very long time to come out. Chicken Tacos and rice were good. Chile verde was extremely salty, tough and a third of it fat chunks. Would not recommend this place.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sombrero’s, and I can’t help but express my fantastic experience. The service was prompt, the restaurant was impeccably clean, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m pretty sure they added a special touch to my margarita because it was exceptionally delightful! I highly recommend this place and eagerly anticipate returning soon for another visit.

Fresh delicious enchiladas mole. Shredded beef filling is unique – slightly charred, perfect. Veggie fajitas so well done including mushrooms and carrots. We loved it.

The food was good but a bit salty for my taste. We walked in with masks but was suprised to see that half the staff were only wearing masks. However, the restaurant gives a homey kind of comfort feel.

Sombreros in Fond du Lac is fantastic! The food is always fresh and delicious, with huge portions. Their margaritas are top-notch, and the staff is so friendly. It’s a fun and welcoming place for a great meal.
