We stopped by last night for dinner at this place. Great experience! Debra had the Fall Cobb salad and loved it! I had the Pork tenders with apples and Brussel sprouts.
Both entrees were outstanding!
The Fall salad had corn relish and black beans in addition to the tried and true Cobb Salad elements. Yum!
I can’t say enough compliments about the pork, It was sliced (1/2 inch thick), breaded, and deep fried. Yummy!
She puts a locally made chutney sauce with it, perfect balance.!
I love Brussels and have had a lot of them, these were in the top 3!!
The Brussels and apples mix had an apple sauce carrier. Lovely!
Debra had a Manhattan while our food was being prepared. It was wonderful!!

I ordered The Roast on Pita and it was phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back! The homemade Mac & Cheese was the perfect touch! Oh and please do yourself a favor and get the Spinach Artichoke dip to start!

Took myself out on a date to Basil & Bourbon tonight and was extremely satisfied with my meal. I ordered the Coffee BBQ Burger with a side salad, with Beer Battered Fries as an appetizer. Everything was cooked to order, perfectly seasoned, and so delicious!
My server, Heather, was witty, wonderful, and very polite. She never let my sweet tea get low, and always came to my table with a smile.
10/10 I will be returning!

Most delicious find in Bolivar!! We were looking for a farm to table, higher end cocktail restaurant and bar on our way to the city. Thank goodness we stopped!! This place made me feel like I wasn’t stopping for lunch in small-town Bolivar! The atmosphere and aesthetic made me think of a historic cafe in St. Louis or Kansas City. And the food?! 10/10. Everything tasted very fresh. The perfect stop for lunch. My turkey wrap was delicious! Got fried olives to share and I don’t even like olives, but they were great! My mom got the Jameson Smash so I gave it a taste. The flavor to alcohol ratio was perfectly balanced and super refreshing! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in Bolivar. 🙂

Basil & Bourbon came highly recommended to me by my clients and it did not disappoint!! I had the coconut shrimp salad which was phenomenal!! My family had the club sandwich with salad, and the coffee burger, which she raved about!! We will definitely be back to try other options on the menu…but wait, the orange chocolate cake was absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted !!!!! The waiter was great and it didn’t take us long to get our food. Definitely will recommend this place to others!
