All of the food that came out was either frozen, canned, or produced somewhere else other than on the facility. The server told us the special and then it was not the right things that came with it. Was charged $5 for a side salad that had runny ranch and was not at all worth that money. Seating was uncomfortable and there was only one server on a somewhat busy Saturday afternoon. Overall, the experience was unsatisfying and I would not recommend this location. Price point was high for serving size and quality of food was definitely lacking.

Waited over an hour for 2 grilled cheese, a baked potato, and a steak and cheese. Grilled cheese wasn’t cooked long enough to melt the cheese and all of the food was cold. Sent the grilled cheese back and it was gone for one minute and the waitress brought it back and asked if my son wanted something else because the sandwich still wasn’t fixed. Bathrooms filthy to add to the wonderful experience. Not sure what happened to this place, but won’t visit again to see if there are any improvements. 0 stars is what it deserved but apparently not an option here. There were only two other tables with customers, so it wasn’t even a busy day.

We went here with a friend as a goodbye dinner mainly because this was a “well crap where we wanted to go is closed” we got there and food was WAY over priced first red flag and should have been our only red flag we needed to get up and leave. My husband said the sandwich he ordered wasn’t terrible but his onion rings were MOLDED not even a little moldy either. The burger patties are frozen which is a disappointment considering how Abilene has a big farm population. Overall a terrible food experience on-top of outdated decor will NEVER eat here again. Only good thing was the waitress who was at least trying.

What a gem. I didn’t know it was there. Hotel clerk raved and they did not disappoint. I had the best mushroom and Swiss burger ever. It was bourbon infused somehow. Also partner had bourbon bacon cheeseburger. Both fantastic. They had full dinner options too. Bellied up to the bar for a beverage while I waited. Will be a place I revisit next trip.

Stop by on our way through and had some really good food here. I heard the steak was excellent, but they were out of most of it that evening. I had a great French dip sandwich with some awesome cheese curds. Highly recommend the cheese curds and I have pretty high standards for them. Swing by and give it a shot!

The food was good, but they spilled a tray of drinks (6) on one of our guests and then sat her in a chair with glue from a booster seat on it getting on her jeans and never offered a discount on their meal. Shame on you.

No one at the front door to seat you. Had to wander around the place to find a guy. Bathroom was out of service. Half the menu was steaks but they were out of every type of steak. Out of half the beers on tap. The only waiter I saw working there seemed overwhelmed with all the customers. Some left immediately after finding out they had no steaks. Looks like poor management. I remember this place being very different when I was a kid. Better food back then.

The food was pretty good. Chicken fried steak was fried well. No steaks the night we were there. The reuben was delicious with the right amount of tender meat, saurkraut and 1000 island dressing. The cole slaw was bland.

For the price our food was just “ok” and the service was absolutely horrible. The women who greeted us was so rude and our waitress could have cared less of what we needed. We will never go back and will never recommend to anyone.
