theNookCKMC is a Cocktail Kitchen & Market Cafe for the community of Celina. We have a menu spreading with eclectic comfort food integrated with burgers, pasta, tacos, salads, wings and more. Our food menu also includes breakfast bites such as Arepas, waffles and cronuts as well as our brunch menu which has some great items such as breakfast pasta and a morning flatbread. Our cocktail menu is extremely creative and elevated using house made cordials and fresh ingredients in all our specialty cocktails as well as the classic ones. We have live music every Thursday night and run daily specials every day of the week so come out and give theNook a try.

While looking for new restaurants in the area, we came across The Nook. After reading the reviews, we almost didn’t go — but we decided to give it a chance, and we were pleasantly surprised!
Everything was great: the food was well-prepared, the service was excellent, and Sofia was incredibly attentive to our needs.
We ordered wings, the mushroom burger, and chicken nuggets — everything was delicious and well made.
We’ll definitely be back soon. A wonderful experience!

We ordered a pepperoni flatbread, which was crispy and the perfect portion. The Mac and cheese had far more flavor than I expected and was eaten without a fuss and in its entirety (for a kid, that’s a feat). The burger was simple, but great. The wings were extra crispy, and the different drinks were tasty as well. Our server was fantastic and we will certainly be back one evening.

We have been to the Nook several times on this trip to visit family, for breakfast and dinner. There is a wide variety of options and we have loved every dish we’ve gotten. We have been blown away by the low prices, especially given the excellent quality of the food. Every time we’ve been in, all of the staff has been above and beyond kind and respectful, and even remembered our preferences on only our second visit. The environment is clean and spacious, and super cute. We saw several groups of only children come in on each of our visits, making it feel like a true community establishment. We love the Nook!

I’m saying 4 stars, but it’s a solid 4 stars and definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby. We picked this restaurant because we were in the area for an estimate and wanted to grab a quick lunch. Food came quick, but overall service and attentiveness had some room for improvement. A real tangible menu would be nice, I know everyone is doing on the phone, but it’s annoying. I wanted to get the chicken pesto sandwich, but they wouldn’t let me remove the artichoke, so that was a bit of a turn-off. I got the street tacos-pulled chicken instead and thoroughly enjoyed them. I ordered 3, they look small, but they are well filled, lots of cheese and chicken and delicious sauce, but definitely could have eaten 4. Hubby got some salads that looked great. I loved the little robot cat server, super cool.

Nice cozy inside atmosphere with a nice out door eating area as well. Friendly, helpful staff, and good food. I had the Salmon street tacos with Elote & Chips. Will be back to try more of their menu.

Must have been a bad night. We ordered boneless wings and got bone in. I paid $8 for the smallest amount of soup it wasn’t even a cup and tasted from a can. Not fresh. My kids said the Ceaser salad was spicy and didn’t like the cheese flatbread. All for $50. Won’t be back. Disappointed

Food was fine, service was good. The problem is the music was much too loud. Stopped in with a friend for dinner we couldn’t hear each other talk. Probably won’t be back anytime soon. Oh and the lighting in parking lot is terrible.

I have come to the bar at the Nook a couple of times and had great experiences but this last one put a bad taste in my mouth. My friend and I came in to get a couple of drinks at the bar, but we couldn’t find our bartender. We normally have wonderful female bartenders so we were confused why no one was there. Come to find out he was sitting on the couch behind us chatting. When he came back to take our order he was short with us and annoyed but seemed to LOVE talking to the girls next to us which was annoying. I felt like an inconvenience to be there and that has NEVER happened before. The drinks were fine but the service made the experience bad and not enjoyable.
