This place in the heart of Pt Pleasant was fantastic! The food was absolutely fabulous! The portions were so large and the meat was so tender and flavorful. They have many fantastic sauces and they are all quite different. I liked each of them, but the jalapeno and the Alabama white sauces were my favorite. I will definitely be back for the food, but especially the service that was on point, helpful and very friendly. Worth trying.

Looking for a place to eat on vacation with a family with a lot of different food preferences. What a legend this spot ended up being! The BBQ was amazing!! So fresh with tons of flavor! The owners are super humble and friendly and they made sure you felt welcome at this restaurant. The pastrami is also amazing here! And there’s pizza too and yes it’s also amazing. There’s something for everyone to have here! A must visit if you are in the Point Pleasant area! Me and my family will definitely return again next time we are in the area!

We placed a big order for our son’s birthday and everything was Fantastic! We had pulled pork, sliced brisket, turkey, St Louis ribs, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, tomato cucumber salad, ranch beans, and of course cornbread. Everything we ordered was delicious. Some of our guests were from Texas and North Carolina and they too thought the food was terrific. Everything was delivered at exactly the time we requested and all the food was wrapped for delivery with great care – nothing was spilled. This was such a great experience. 2024 UPDATE: I only wish this location was closer. What Doug does with food is truly amazing. His menu is full of everything delicious. As a BBQ guy who has spent countless hours around the smoker I love it when you can trust someone to do it as good or better and you get to just enjoy a meal without the labor.
Doug not only has the perfect BBQ meats it’s his creativity and the menu that he has put together that sets him apart from any other BBQ joint. Sure you can get your standard meats and sides and you’ll enjoy every bite. But dive a little deeper into the menu and see what they’re doing and you won’t be sorry. He’s even reinvented breakfast… Come on Doug cloning is a thing now right? Let’s get another you and put him in my town

Joined up for Wednesday Rib Night, which could not have been a better outing. Full rack of ribs, plus two sides (only $25!)…the ribs were freakin’ outstanding!! Perfectly smoked and perfectly cooked (not falling off the bone, which I find completely inappropriate). We chose the Memphis and Cherry Vanilla sauces, both great complements. All in all just better than anything in Kansas City, South Carolina or Texas. Get there next Wednesday!!!

Tuesdays is .75 wing night . Omg so good. The wings were huge. I tried three flavors and the Texas BBQ was my favorite . Sweet and Smokey but not too sweet. Doug did it again . So good ! Definitely be going back for the wings even when it’s not wing night. I’ve ordered from them from day 1 and never been disappointed . The sides are amazing . The collard greens I always order extra to take home . I don’t even like potato salad and I love there’s . Their breakfast menu is my favorite also ; especially for people who don’t like typical breakfast food like me. Give me savory and not just eggs and toast .

Had a great time here. The food was really good but the brisket was just a bit dry, loved the wings and the ribs. Pork belly burnt ends had a great taste. Service was good. The lemonade could be better as it didn’t have much flavor.

Outstanding service and food. 1st time and won’t be the last I can’t wait to check out the pizza and next time will get brisket on it’s own. The burger was amazing it was actually better then Barnacle Bills. The brussle sprouts were charred and amazing and the shrimp was also fantastic. All in all don’t even bother cooking dinner just come here if your in area. Lots of flavor very, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere which seems to be the norm at the local restaurant in Point Pleasant. After your done eating take a walk on boardwalk 5 minutes away.
