I had just left a Grizzlies game and was racing against the clock (aka my bladder) when I decided to stop for food first. Unfortunately, about two minutes after pulling out, I had to turn around because my order wasn’t filled correctly.
This time, they forgot my fries (with both entrées!) After waiting about 20 minutes (for a SECOND time), I was treated like a CRIMINAL. They looked through my bags (breathing on my chicken sandwich), made me dig to find my receipt, and I was hounded for the exact time the order was placed (after they throughly examined my receipt!) I’m surprised they didn’t ask to check my trunk and my console!!! Meanwhile, I watched them bring fries out to every car (just not mine) even after explaining why I was there.
This never happens at other Chick-fil-A locations. Over at Wolfchase, Marc Clapp is running a well-oiled machine!! I’m convinced those fries line up for inspection before leaving the window. That place has never done me dirty!!!
I truly hope this location can tighten things up, because I’d love to support it, just with the full order next time.
December 2025 Update:
I appreciate the way the lanes are currently separated for Drive-Thru and Mobile-Thru orders. However, the Mobile-Thru lane presents a challenge when there is no dedicated third exit lane. For example, if two vehicles at the front are still waiting for their orders, the vehicles behind them—who may already have their food—are unable to proceed because they are blocked.
To improve traffic flow and overall customer experience, I recommend adding a third lane that functions as an exit for Mobile-Thru customers who have already received their orders.
Of meals and a kids meal. Don’t get me wrong I should’ve checked my bag before I left , but they forgot to give me my kids meal. When I came back , I told the young man at the register what happened and how I would like the whole order remade since I went home and back. Then, he went to grab the manager. The manager didn’t even acknowledge me , just put in the order and said I put that in for you. Didn’t apologize, didn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. I worked at Wolfcreek’s Chick-fil-A for a little over three years, and this type of service would have never been allowed. Then, when I got the remake order, they forgot to put the fries in the kids meal !! This is the second time in two weeks that my order has had a problem. And while I was waiting in the lobby they forgot things in two other people’s orders as well.
I called about the other mistake I had with an order and nobody answered me. Then, the lady finally called me back over a week later after I already went up there and fixed it myself.
This location is whatever the opposite of a diamond in the rough location would be. Your food will either be raw or burnt. No guarantee which. However there is a large guarantee that the employees will just be sitting around getting yelled at in the dirty lobby. Or yelling at each other. People don’t need to know your drama. Families with kids couldn’t stick around the screaming and had to leave versus dining in. Who knows if they are on break or not… But more can get done correctly by working together and not against each other. Until this location gets brand new management I can’t see anyone choosing to eat here more than the first time misfortune. There are more broken systems here than working. Dirty lobby by registers, dirty tables, dirty bathrooms, dirty parking lot… Yes, I wouldn’t have ordered food here if I had seen the poor despicable conditions first. I had a mobile (scan at table) order. Now? I have a lot of regret. Truly I will not stop spreading the word about those select locations that want to bring the reputation of a whole chain down.
