We ordered the crab meat Rangoon and it was good, it was supposed to come with a honey mustard dipping sauce but ended up being a horseradish sauce. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef pizza and he really liked it a lot. I ordered the Schezuan shrimp and scallops and it just was not good. At all. It smelled bad and it tasted just as bad. The server was very nice and helpful and the restaurant setting is really cute. I just didn’t like my food

The first time we had trouble with a food mixup but they came in clutch with not charging for an item; it turned out to be very flavorful along with our other dishes. The second time around we had a much better time the food was delicious and staff was attentive I left full& happy we will continue coming.

I want to start off by saying that their sushi is excellent. 10/10 – if I was ordering sushi to go it would be 5* for sure.
I ordered the teriyaki chicken & the chicken was great – the side veggies were just cold. The services was definitely a little slow & The Depot had a faint unpleasant smell the entire time we were there – almost like sewage?
I would give them another try in the future, as I’ve had veggies in the past that were not cold.

This place was awesome. I love that it was an old train station that they turn into a restaurant. Prices versus portions were good. Plus the food taste delicious. I like the selection on the menu as well. Definitely recommend this spot.

In 1907 once a train station for passengers and freight, imagine how many good byes were said here when the young men were going off to war. Now a wonderful place to eat, I have never had a bad experience.

Kudos to The Depot!
Friday night, every table full, we have reservations for a party of five.
We get seated promptly and the service was remarkably timely- we really didn’t have to “wait” at all; appetizers came right away, followed by salads.
Now for the entrees; they are not for the amateur diners! The meats are seasoned- with an emphasis on salt and pepper (but delicious!)
I am stingy with my five star reviews, and though this establishment does not appear as a five star restaurant, because of the impeccable service (on a busy Friday night- they have it dialed in!) and the quality of each dish…..it is unashamedly five stars.

The Depot is by far our favorite restaurant in Lawrence and surrounding counties. We’ve been going there for dinner for years and will always go back. Never a bad experience and they have something for everyone: from steaks and burgers, to seafood and sushi, appetizers and kids meals. Extremely reasonable pricing and excellent fresh food every time.

The food is always amazing and a fair price, with large portions. Sushi is excellent. The servers are friendly. I love doing pickup orders because it is quick and the food is fresh. I do wish they had a changing table in the bathroom.

The sushi was good but it took it almost 30 minutes to get it after ordering. We also had fried calamari it was wonderful and came out in a reasonable time frame.
