Stopped by for a sweet treat and I was pleasantly surprised that they are a taqueria as well. Come get your tacos, tortas, mexican street type foods, and dessert. The carne asada tacos and tacos al pastor were very good. They are your smaller street type tacos. 4 was a good number for me. I paired it up with a rice water (horchata) that was also very good. For a little treat, I went with one of their homemade ice creams. I chose the Mexican chocolate ice cream (Chocolate Abuelita). It was very creamy and delicious and best of all, it tasted just like Chocolate Abuelita. They have many other flavors to choose from. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. I will be going back for the ceviche. As a final comment, their prices are very reasonable and affordable. Thank you for the great food and service.

Disappointed by Inconsistency Across Locations
I normally don’t leave reviews, but this was frustrating enough to speak up. I visited two different locations of this restaurant in the same city and was surprised to find completely different menus — and not just minor differences. One had several great options the other didn’t, and when I asked about it, staff had no explanation. Why does one Michoacana serve ice cream and snacks only and the other the food? Frustrating!
If you’re a chain, especially in the same city, there should be consistency. It’s misleading to customers who expect the same experience across locations. I won’t be returning until this is addressed.

The Asada tacos are on point! Food is always delicious. But wipe your tables down guys that’s why I won’t eat inside no more they’re customer service is on point, fast and friendly.

This place is ok. The fresas con crema is more cream then strawberries. The tables and over all cleanliness of this place is 0/10 the trash is piled in the trash can to where no more can fit, and the guy in the front is not nice and doesn’t say anything when you order, he only talks when he gives you the price under his breath.

I came for the ceviche but they were all out. I went for the shrimp cocktail and man was it good! I would never have thought that an ice cream shop would serve up a Mexican shrimp cocktail. I would recommend it if you are ever in Deming. No pictures because I was starving and it was that delicious!

Great tacos and ice cream, definitely love that the menu has a variety of different snacks and drinks available. But the customer service is extremely lacking. I personally don’t like being told “What do you want?” When asked what I would like to order or “Here” when food is presented to me.
