Just really gross. Simple order of drink and fries and it was not good. We were greeted with a message that co2 machine was down so no sodas. That was fine, I got a lemonade and it was fine. We waited nearly 10 minutes for 2 large fries. My wife and I both ordered a large fry. No hyperbole here, they were the worst fries I have ever had. Small, overcooked, so much oil, burnt black bits, very little potato. I ate them all because I was super hungry and needed something fast before my son’s baseball game. Those fries made me feel like garbage during the whole game. My wife had a similar experience. I finally felt better when we got some real food after the game. These fries were embarrassing. Not surprised by the reviews I read. Should have read them earlier. Avoid this restaurant, no good.

When I went in a girl with black hair was so sweet and so kind and when I asked for extra sauce, she gave it to me without complaining I’ve went in and there were some workers that would complain about it, but she was so kind and so sweet one of the best workers I’ve seen in fast food

We thought the restaurant was closed early. At 8pm all the exterior lights were off. When we realized they were open (barely) and ordered, the food was incorrect, and not good at all. We won’t be back to this location.

On a weekday afternoon, Ithought I could use a quick drink, so I decided to give the Matoon Sonic a try. It has been awhile since I’d been in to this location. I know they’re not really made to be a drive thru, but since it’s an option, it should be reasonable to use it. Nearly 20 mins later…
$16 for 2 medium lemonades and tots is WAY too inflated. The tots were meh, both lemonade were filled with too much ice (estimating 80% ice). The server at the window was unpleasant and demanding in tone. I recommend you drive the couple blocks north and buy your beverages and snacks from GingerAles where the serving size is better for a more reasonable price and it never takes 20 mins for a small order!!

One of the employees was at the drive thru window openly talking rudely about customers in front of them without showing her face. I was criticized for rounding up my order and leaving a tip. Super unfortunate for this business.

We stopped by hoping to try one of the seasonal ice cream treats, but the experience was disappointing. When we asked about it, the employee simply said “nope” — no explanation or alternative. We then asked if we could at least get regular ice cream, and she said the machine was already shut down for the night.
It was still within business hours, and the dismissive attitude made us feel like they just didn’t want to serve it. We weren’t expecting a five-star dessert — just decent customer service. Won’t be stopping at this location again anytime soon.
