First time in this establishment, six tables were filled with people dining I came in. It took me a half hour before the waitress gave me water. I canceled my drink. The food was horrible. Some of the vegetables on the salad look old dressing was poor quality the oysters all it was was fried dough with little remnants of what I hope was an oyster. The clam chowder was good. That’s why I gave it a one.

Great food, great service. Went here for lunch on Valentine’s Day and I was surprised by how much I liked it. Wasn’t busy at the time I went but the inside was very clean. The food was great. Had the fried seafood combo with catfish nuggets and shrimp. The shrimp was good,, but a tad bit rubbery texture. The catfish nuggets were awesome! Definitely will make the drive to go here again.

Atmosphere was ok, certainly could use a deep clean, bathrooms did not smell good at all. Service was absolutely incredible, the team did a great job, actually very impressive. Food was hit and miss. Fried catfish was great, clam chowder was good. Gumbo, aeh…. not so hot. Didn’t taste like typical Gumbo. I will return, but will not be frequently.

Never heard of the place and found it by accident. Expected a restaurant. Walked into a something resembling a cafe that serves beer. However, when we went to order the beer, they were out of our beer. Then I wanted oysters and they were out of oysters.
I ordered the lobster bisque which was surprisingly good. My husband ordered the crab fries and enjoyed those.
For our meals I got the smash burger that was supposed to come with an egg. No egg. My husband ordered the fried catfish which was flavorless. It also came with gumbo that was extra salty.
The menu specifically states to ask the server for dessert options. Well, you guessed it, they had no dessert options. Nothing, nada.
We paid full price for a missing egg and food and beer we choose as a second option.
Windows, window ledges and glass doors were filthy. A little glass cleaner would do the trick.
The waitress was very sweet. All in all, we probably won’t be going back.

I joined friends for a birthday brunch yesterday and felt like this establishment played in my face. I ordered the shrimp and lobster omelette and it was disgusting. They actually put a piece of sliced cheese on top of the omelette. The inside of the omelette had undercooked and unseasoned shrimp with a clump of unseasoned lobster meat (that seemed more like canned crab meat) thrown in with 4-5 pieces of peppers and onions. When I say NO SEASONING WHATSOEVER! My friend was unhappy with her plate and asked for the owner. When I showed him the cheese slice on top of the omelette, he stated that we had to think about the demographics for the location!!! Then proceeded to tell us that he’s only been in business for 2 years. None of that negates the fact of what I was served. He even looked surprised when I showed him the omelette, and stated “it wasn’t supposed to be like that.” The potatoes were bathed in salt and we were told that they are fried in chicken grease! However, my table agreed that it tasted like it was fried in fish/ seafood grease! I like to support, but this was utterly disgusting!

So me a buddy of mine went March 4th 2026 and we both got the Cajun catfish bites well let me tell you they were not Cajun they were the regular catfish bites and when I said something to the waiter he was like oh well he didn’t bother to go say anything he didn’t say let me get it remade for you nothing. Now he did give me a little bit off my bill but that’s not the point I didn’t get what I ordered.
I do like this place most their food I’ve had has been pretty good all except for the gumbo and it’s been bad every time I’ve tried it and the calamari they overcook it comes out like a rubber band. The po boys are always good and so is the fish and chips.

This was our 1st time here today but it won’t be our last.There was only one young lady working out front but she was excellent. The food was fixed perfectly &everything tasted great.I had the oyster platter which was excellent. MY husband had fish &chips and he said the taste was spot on.The restaurant was nice &clean, prices were good. We will definitely be back.i recommend this place !

Made from scratch DELICIOUS! Wonderful experience here. First class food, all hand made. Wife got the chicken tenders and they are HUGE, i got the lemon pepper catfish and sauteed spinach. Can’t speak highly enough about this place. Come get some.

Went about six on Friday. GOT the shrimp Poboy. Huge with plenty of shrimp. Maybe add more mayo to the sandwich. I added the lemon pepper to the shrimp Poboy!!! Delicious. Cajun fries were fantastic. Only thing I was disappointed on was the hush puppies. For 4.99 I got six small ones. Don’t know if that’s the true order for an appetizer but felt I should have had more than six baby hush puppies for the price.

Let me hold your hand when I say…NEVER AGAIN! I don’t know what was going on 4/11 in the kitchen at Sands but our food wasn’t it. The salty “seafood gumbo”, with burned roux and mini shrimp. The “PoBoy” should be called “homeless boy” because that cold slab of meat, covered in GFS season-less slaw and 6 french fries(that were supposed to cajun), drizzled in Sweet Baby Rays was garbage. I ordered a caesar salad, got a house salad. They weren’t busy AT ALL! The waitress was nice. Another food establishment we were excited to try and let down on the books.
