Low-lit, effortlessly chic and quietly confident, Orka delivers bougie, sexy date-night energy without ever trying too hard. Perfect for clinking glasses with your partner or catching up with a friend – plates in the middle, candles flickering, music humming softly in the background.
We had:
Virgin elderflower spritz – light, floral and beautifully balanced, crisp and refreshing, proving you don’t need alcohol to feel indulgent
Virgin rose spritz – delicate, elegant and quietly luxurious, very main character energy
Tahini & garlic hummus – silky smooth, rich and deeply comforting, simple yet soulful and executed flawlessly
Lebanese bread – warm, soft and perfect for scooping up every last bit of that hummus
Sirloin steak (medium) – tender, juicy and full of flavour, finished with the perfect char that only comes from a confident kitchen
Korean-style chicken – sticky, sweet with a gentle heat, layered with depth and completely moreish
Wood-roasted carrots – smoky, sweet and beautifully caramelised
Roasted sweet potato – soft, rich and deeply comforting, with natural sweetness shining through
Romaine lettuce – fresh, crisp and cleansing, the perfect balance to the richer plates

The staff were fantastic, really helpful, friendly and very kind considering we arrived as the kitchen was closing. The food was very good. We had a selection of tapas food. The sticky pork ribs were particularly tasty. We both really enjoyed the atmosphere. A great date night or social location. The only criticism I can think of at all is that some of the table are a bit small for a variety of tapas plates.

A little sanctuary for food lovers. Simple, seasonal ingredients from all over the world, combined in truly magical ways. Every dish feels thoughtful and exciting without being pretentious, but the result is outstanding.
Beautifully decorated restaurant, with background music at just the right volume — calm, warm, and inviting. I love sitting at the bar tables; the moment I walk in, it feels like entering my own pocket of peace.

What an amazing experience we had at Orka! We stayed at the Morgan Hotel and they got us a reservation here. The food was absolutely delicious, we had a good selection of small plates and had the chateaubriand steak to finish. It was cooked to perfection! The staff were warm welcoming and very attentive. Highly recommend this restaurant, we will be definitely be visiting again.

Decided to give this venue a shot for a special occasion and we weren’t disappointed at all! The service from Alex and Maddie was second to none, probably the best service we have ever received in a restaurant (not exaggerating!). Accommodated our fairly hefty pram for our 3 month old and did everything they could and more to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The food quality was brilliant, couldn’t fault a thing. My personal favourite was the scotch egg! The cocktails were a personal highlight – perfectly balanced and well presented. Coffee negroni is my tip for any coffee enthusiasts! This was a wonderful experience for the three of us and we will definitely be returning, soon!

So good to see such a modern, stylish, good taste ambience place with interesting, tasty foodie options (with not killing prices!) a long with very professional service in tired of junk chains Swansea City Center!
Just get there for late (delicious!) breakfast and been hugely impressed!

A genuinely sensational Sunday lunch in a beautifully designed restaurant. Might not seem obvious to go into the city centre for
Sunday lunch, but well worth it for what is quickly establishing itself as the best restaurant in the Swansea area. As with the sister cafe, FIKA, service is classy and friendly. I had Welsh steak tartare, perfectly cooked beef with generous trimmings, and an excellent sticky toffee pudding. Thoroughly recommended and looking forward to going back soon.
