We went for the first time on Friday and place was nit to busy. We were served some kind of Caldo with a full shrimp in it, it was a bit salty wish it would of been less. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and let me say YUMM!! It was made like we make it at home. Lots of shrimp, lots of veggies and lots of avocado, I also got the fish taco and it was good. My husband got the pescado a la Diabla. If we would of known it was pan fried fish topped with onion im sure he would of gotten something else. But the flavor was on point. We my father got the caldo de 7 mares and it was surprisingly good as well. Had lots of different type of sea food in it. The best one of all was the shrimp quesadilla with cheese only. Now tat is to die for. It was cooked perfectly the taste was amazing. All around a great place to eat some mariscos. They just need to lay a little off the salt.

Dissapointed. Place seems authentic but the fish tacos were lacking flavor. Corn tortillas were, “meh”… cheap run of the mill tortillas they sell at regular grocery stores. Fish definitely not fresh. Will not be back.

Some of the best and cheapest fish tacos in Escondido. Fresh fish caught daily. They have been around forever and the food is the reason why.

Great food… I wish the staff could be a little more alive and that they keep the condament stand supplied. Other then that, the food took the show. If you like Mariscos (sea food) this is your place. We had the crazy tostada, fish taco, surf & turf, & shrimp cocktail. They were all great, fresh and tasty.. We will be back for sure.

Holy hidden gem Batman!!! The food is nothing short of amazing. Its easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it but please do yourself a favor and find it. It’s a smallish place with no ac but it’s totally worth it. Amazing seafood. I had the grilled seafood mix tacos. Just to be clear it says taco but it’s basically a seafood platter sitting on a tortilla. Any time you have to eat your way through a half a plate of amazing seafood to be able to pick up the tortilla for your taco, you’ve found the right place. Incredibly delicious. My wife had the seafood mix tostada, I sampled then sturggled with no eating both of our plates. If you see it and stop at the door because it’s small, push past this. Amazing food at an incredible value is on the other side.

Could possibly be the best seafood tacos, burritos, and small plates around town. Good tasting and spicy salsas. Gotta get the glass coca-cola with your food.

Update, not sure if they got new owners or just new staff but the new staff is awesome! The ladies are super nice, on it and accommodating. The food is amazing as always. I wish there was one closer to where I live, in the mean time I always recommend this place and will continue to make the the drive. My favorites menu items are the tacos gobernador, shrimp ceviche tostada, and you can never go wrong with their classic fish tacos. My mom doesn’t like seafood, but she loves their fish tacos. My brother also loves this place. My friend who has been to menu parts of mexico said this is still her favorite Mexican seafood spot.

I love coming here, but, they lost a star from me tonight, because they closed earlier than the posted hours. We showed up at 7:55pm on a Tuesday night, our friend was waiting for us inside with her food eating, they had already locked the door and told us they closed early and tried to rush her out so they can start cleaning. They should really consider changing their hours, or put a sign up. I was embarrassed for another friend I had brought to try the amazing food they offer. Not a good first impression. Also, we drove 35 minutes out of our way to make this finally happen. I also wish the cashiers were consistent. The older lady is the best. The younger girl is always on her phone and seems unhappy to be there and the younger guy should really learn the menu.

This was my second time here and I ordered two fish tacos and a mixed Seafood taco. The fish tacos were as good as they were the last time but the mixed Seafood Taco was out-of-this-world great!
