An excellent beir hall, with a decent selection of German biers and some domestic. Service was fast and attentive, good was excellent. Didn’t have a bad option the the menu! Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Authentic German food, with great big beers. Excellent service and fun atmosphere. They do live music from time to time. Love their Jagerschnitzel. Great little dinner spot on the edge of town. Wife loved the Kerspaetzle and cucumber salad. Will definitely be coming again

Home of das boot! I didn’t actually get it but wished someone did. Loved the energy of the staff and all the decor. Seating inside and outside. This place is great for families or just a night out with friends. The customers at the bar were having a great time with the jukebox. Don’t know if it’s actually called that anymore. Machine that plays music is best way to describe it.
The food was amazing. This was only my second time at a German restaurant. First time I made the mistake of getting a giant array of sausage. I was smart enough this time to not eat too heavy. I went with das schnitzel sandwich. I was recently introduced to fried pork cutlets. On a pretzel bread seems like a no-brainer. I turned out to be right. Fried perfectly, tons of flavor. Their french fries for a nice bonus. Very crispy and delicious. I was also able to sample some of my wife’s plate of jagerschnitzel. It was basically what I got, but with a delicious mushroom gravy sauce. It also came with a side of spatzle. Great experience. Can’t wait to go visit the in-laws and come back here. Five stars!

This was a random gem we stumbled upon. Described as “sneakily delicious” by my boyfriend i had to post a review. Which i never really do, The Bavarian Nachos we ordered for starters didn’t make it to the photos, THATS how good it was. When ordering the salad you’re preparing for being underwhelmed but i was so happy with what i got, the salad was perfectly abundant with all the listed ingredients and the homemade dressing was excellent. I’m impressed already but then my bf gets Das schnitzel sandwich with Munster and bacon, EXCELLENT, with the delicious garlic lemon mayo. Be prepared for awesome service too, not too much attention but just enough you never need for anything. Thank you for having us, we most definitely will be regulars now!

Amazing German style American sports bar. Great place to visit after hot beach day and during sports events. Professional stuff and delicious food. Pretzel is a must.

This place smelled really weird, like a public pool bathroom. But once you got over that, the beer and pretzels are very good. Not a lot of healthy choices, but good for an indulgence. The burger sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwich was over the top, not in a good way. Was set up like a German Oktoberfest bar, lots of room, large communal tables.

I’ve been here multiple times in the past few years and I have never once been disappointed. They frequently have live music and events, additionally their in season alcohol is always changing. The food is my favorite German food on Long Island, and I’ve tried everything on their menu at least once. Prices may look high but everything is at least a meal and a half in serving size, come hungry and leave satisfied.
