The OK Bar & Billiards is truly one of the most nostalgic and legendary places in Joplin! 86 years is pretty impressive if you ask me! I was a customer for years and now being on the other side of the bar has opened up a new love and respect for this place and all of the people that have experienced the family and circle of love! Has gone way down hill. It’s obvious they have cut cost and raised prices. Food is the worst bar food in town and the most expensive tables in town. Although they are in good shape.

I used to love coming here years ago. Came back and boy howdy that new owner is something else. The dude that has been there since 90s has always been cool. Shame it was a hopping place b4 her where tables were always full and the atmosphere was friendly.

I play league here, and I like this place a lot. This is the first time it’s happened but the extremely loud bass was making me nauseous. I’ve asked if the volume could be turned down and told no. I wish you cared about your patrons more.

Food was gross and way overpriced. Bartender chick was super rude and unprofessional. Don’t waste your time or money. The Latin fusion next door is delicious and affordable. Plus they treat you with respect. No pool tables but super friendly fast service and omg the food is sooooo good. Why spend more on food from the grease pit when you can have authentic Honduran food for less money?
