A gem off the main road. My wife and I wanted some breakfast burritos. We were greeted with a smile. After we ordered was given some chips and bean dip in a small container while we wait. It was a nice surprise. The salsa bar was neat and clean. The taste …. So good. Wife enjoyed the verde salsa. The food tasted great. Nice size burritos. A new spot for us. If my wife and I are in Escondido this is a go to spot. Pictures post are from February 2026. Prices Subject to change over time.

Warm and cozy. The Carne Asada burrito had delicious tenders strips of fresh and tasty steak. You will notice a difference from what other restaurants offer. The shredded beef rolled tacos were great! The salsa bar was really good. We especially liked the green jalapeño salsa. One thing we loved was they give you an appetizer of chips and beans, and they even gave us a refill. Check this place out.

Find this little gem after a long day driving! It was what my souls needed. I found tripa tacos which are my favorite and not that popular, the tacos were delicious and crispy, the staff were very welcoming and kind.

This place was a fantastic find! We were in Escondido for an appointment and my husband and I realized we were starving and needed to find someplace to eat quickly before our next appointment. I looked this place up on Google and it had a 4.6 so we went over and checked it out. Got a breakfast burrito and we both agree that it was the best breakfast burrito we’ve ever eaten in our lives. A little spendy – but so is everything these days – the burrito is torpedo size, and for me it’s two meals. We added pico de gallo, guacamole, bacon, and chose hashbrowns over fries, which was an excellent decision.
Salsa on hand were very good too.
We had our 10 month old baby with us and he started to get fussy/hungry the owner made us a plain egg scramble for free for him. So nice!
Atmosphere gets three stars because it was just your average Taqueria atmosphere. However, the welcoming and family vibe was really great.

first off right when you come in the ladies super nice and then they offer you free beans with cheese and chips which were exquisite and then they give you a plethora of salsa to choose from with containers, and then the tacos were pretty delicious as well

The service is phenomenal. They make you feel at home, and are so welcoming, it’s great.
The food is delicious. One of my friends said the tacos de cabeza were great. I personally got the carne asada fries, campechana style (asada and carnitas) and they were so good. Their green and avocado sauce on the fries were bursting with flavor. They were truly amazing.
The atmosphere is awesome, the waiters are so friendly and accommodating.
Please, take your time and come here, at least once. You won’t regret it. (You’ll probably come again like I will.)

I found this place based on Google reviews. It SO did not disappoint — AWESOME food, and great extras (like salsa and stuff)! The family got three plates and all three plates were huge potions and sooooo tasty. I went back and got the #1 again!

This is a small taco shop with a few tables inside and out. I was greeted with an appetizer. Warm chips and refried beans topped with shredded cheese. Beans are very good. My adobada tacos were hot with fresh onion, cilantro and guacamole. A Serrano on the side was As if that weren’t good enough, they have 4 or 5 salsas at a self serve salsa bar. Good stuff here, stop by and treat yourself.
