The Raynham Mandarin is one of the best, if not the best, place in Raynham to get Chinese food. This restaurant is a buffet, and the price (roughly 10 dollars a person) is very fair for the food. Everything here generally just tastes good. You walk away feeling full and satisfied, no matter what you get. The service can be a little bit slow sometimes, but this is usually only because the restaurant is so packed. Drinks are usually refilled, and more food put out, very quickly. I think my favorite thing about the Mandarin is the atmosphere. It feels quiet and cozy, even when there is a full house. The white noise of other people buzzing around with conversation only serves to further relax you and set you up for one of the best experiences in town. I highly recommend this place.

I have eaten here more times than I can count. The food is always hot and fresh. The quality is very good for such a busy, inexpensive buffet. The sushi is good as well. The waitstaff is efficient and friendly.

This restaurant use to be so good years ago but the last few times I’ve gone there it was edible but nothing to brag about. Today I stopped in for lunch figured I haven’t been there in a while…..The food tasted terrible….it wasn’t even hot or fresh. The chicken fingers dough was raw inside. I don’t recommend there Chinese food restaurant at all. I didn’t even bother to complain….I simply paid our bill & I will never eat there again!!!
Not to mention the staff is very unfriendly & they are not attentive enough….But they are quick to bring the bill………if I could rate with 0 stars that would have been more accurate……

Ive never gone to a buffet where I didnt want to put anything on my plate. That happened here. I made a small plate we ate quickly and asked for the check. If you have never tasted great chinese food then maybe you’ll like this place. The lo mien tasted like it was sour, the food was just bland and nothing special. I couldn’t leave quick enough. The staff also had attitudes. We will not be back here.

Great for our whole picky asia travelling family. Fresh raw shrimp and beef cooked for you at a hibachi bar, sushi being wrapped, lots of typical fried foods and good dumplings with good turn over, noodle ad rice dishes. No charge for our toddler who was very happy even before she discovered the dessert bar and 6 ice creams! Really quite a deal!

Ignoring Joe Food Critic down there, this semi-humble, all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet packs a sublime selection of conglomerate cuisine.

Usually I’m a simple chicken-and-rice man, and I’m never left disappointed. I’ll load up my first plate with chicken fingers, chicken wings, chicken teriyaki, crispy chicken, honey chicken, and chicken & broccoli, to name a few, with a nice big lump of white rice for good measure. Sometimes I’ll just load a plate with honey chicken and savor its sweet taste.

Then I go up for seconds, where I mix things up a bit, but tend to stick mostly to the same routine. My third or fourth plate, depending on my appetite, will be fruit. Canteloupe, honeydew, perhaps some pineapple…there’s a decent variety of fruits as well as ice creams, puddings, and pastries for dessert.

Oh, while I mentioned enjoying lots of forms of chicken, it should be noted that they have a much bigger selection than just chicken dishes. All manner of Chinese entrees and side dishes can be found here, and of course soup and various beverages can be ordered before going up to the buffet area.

There’s also the sushi bar, and I believe at least on certain occasions they’ll serve lobster at a premium.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants. If you’re in the area looking for a quality buffet, I highly recommend this one! 😉

EDIT: Raynhan Mandarin. Gone but not forgotten.

I am absolutley disgusted with this place!!!! The service was pitiful. My waitress didn’t come and check on me once. She was rude and uninformed about the ingredients of the dishes. I even had to go to the service station to get my drink refilled after waiting nearly 15 minutes. The food was burnt or cold or not even cooked all the way!!! I was sick the entire night after…I will never be a patron here again. I will absoultely go to Hibachi Sushi down the street. Heard that place is great!!!!

Good food, great price, and the mediocre level of service you’d expect from immigrants…but where else can you get sushi included in an all you can eat buffet where you can actually order specific rolls for no extra charge? Awesome!

Well…I don’t know how I feel about this place… Nothing bad besides the restrooms but nothing outstanding either. First time to Taunton and needed some dinner before driving an hour plus back to Providence. Hibachi was the best part of the meal…
