I didn’t expect to find such great ingredients in the Cleveland area—there was even seasonal firefly squid.
I only ordered Omakase for takeout. The chef thoughtfully introduced each ingredient to me one by one, which was very considerate. The owner also said that next time I should make a reservation and sit at the bar for the Omakase experience, which would be even better.

Fantastic omakase experience. Every piece was clean, balanced, and beautifully presented. The amaebi was sweet and delicate, the uni was fresh and creamy, and the tuna had excellent texture with precise knife work. The A5 wagyu nigiri topped with uni was incredibly rich and buttery without feeling heavy — a standout bite.
What truly sets this place apart is not just the food, but the owner/chef’s passion. You can genuinely feel how much he loves what he does, and it shows in every detail. It’s inspiring to see a chef finally able to build his restaurant exactly the way he envisioned.
Absolutely love this place! The sashimi is super fresh and well-cut—better than many sushi spots I’ve tried. The General Tao Chicken is crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced between sweet and spicy. Portions are generous, service is quick, and the staff is friendly. Definitely one of my go-to spots. Highly recommend!

The food is incredible. Las Vegas sushi is awesome if you’re a crab lover. Best Crab Rangoon I’ve had in a while. Hibachi is delicious. I will definitely go back whenever I’m in that area.

Their sushi tastes exactly the same as the restaurant in Beverly Hills, CA, and it’s all professional. New dine-in omakase is fantastic! Chef made some awesome one-off nigiris that need to be tasted!!! Real grated wasabi makes a huge difference in the taste of the food and dining experience. Would love to see loose leaf teas paired with the omakase in the future ☺️

This was my first time going to the Phoenix Express in Stow. When I walked in to my surprise there weren’t very many people but as soon as they took our order they were very busy at work. I wanted to try the Sushi Omakase after seeing pictures online. I thought I would have to travel at least 15-45 minutes to get this sushi anywhere else and was very pleased to see this here. What a hidden gem! Highly suggest this place, the customer service was top tier and they even came out and explained each piece of sushi to us! It was like art! Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

This place used to be so good it was a great value for the money. Sadly something changed within the last couple of months and the portions are less than half of what they used to be. The quality and The taste is still good but for 15 bucks somewhere in the middle from what they used to give you to now would have been acceptable. Really disappointed. Hopefully they realize quickly that people won’t be happy with the new menu sizes

It was my first time visit there and I was completely blown away by how tasty the food was. Me and my boyfriend ordered a Trio B and Trio D combo for dinner. I had the trio D with bourbon chicken and general t’so. The food is SOOOOO GOOD!!!!! The bourbon chicken is very juicy and rich in flavor, the general t’so chicken is crispy and with just about the right amount of spicy. Definitely will come back for more tasty food!
