Excellent waterfront restaurant serving outstanding seafood! The food is definitely five-star! The dishes are prepared to perfection. I loved my succulent fried clams. Pleasant service, order at the counter (they will deliver your order to your table). Grab a window table if available. I plan to return.

I ordered the clam strip roll and it was fantastic. My favorite part of this restaurant are the views from inside or outside! I sat outside at the picnic table and ate my takeout order. The staff was super friendly and they even have fire pits that you can sit at.

The new owners of the Hook have made some amazing improvements!! First, the menu – the selection is great for the venue. Exactly what you would expect, but higher quality food and great selection. Some of it is locally sourced too. Second – the staff is always so friendly and willing to help. Third – the technology & POS system is state of the art with pagers and digital screens. Fourth – the atmosphere is SO cool! There are multiple options for seating…inside, window seating, picnic tables, rockers, benches and even some grounded boats! It’s a theme-like setting with great tunes throughout.

This is a great restaurant if you like waterside outdoor seating and enjoy seafood. Lots of available outdoor spots, also great indoor lake facing window side seats are available. I ordered a lobster roll, it was $33 ish. You can choose to have hot or cold lobster rolls, I took hot and it was delicious. And don’t forget the butter. Eat here and enjoy the nearby scenic drive via NH 112, all the way to Conway, through the white mountains.

I really love this place. Great ice cream, amazing views and very nice people. This is one of my favorite places in the UV. You can go at any season of the year and you will enjoy it. My recommendations are: hamburgers and hot dogs with the coleslaw (btw, the best coleslaw I’ve ever tried). They also have some offers for the Instagram followers, so if you want to save some money, just check their Instagram account.

Food was pretty good ( a little pricey, that’s the only reason it’s not 5⭐, and the fish fry could have been cooked a bit longer, the breading got soggy). Good size portions. Very fresh! Coleslaw and fries were the best parts ( not pictured). But THE VIEW is unbeatable! Will probably be back to try some of their other dishes!

This was the perfect spot for a summer lunch at the lake! The food was great and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and made great recommendations! Shout out to Abby and Maddy 🙂 We got the fish sandwich and the cold lobster roll that were both so yummy! Definitely looking forward to coming back here!

What a fun find! Invited by friends and not at all disappointed- had the fish and chips!! Wonderful!! Serving size was generous – served piping hot even with our party of 6! The ice cream to top the evening was heavenly!! It is tight seating quarters that over looks the lake and they also had a small seating area on a deck. There was live music by a soloist playing guitar.

A great place to stop by grab a cone and watch the lake. An amazing staff this place is much better than it used to be. It has docks again so you can pull up in your boat and grab a cone or a sandwich. Outdoor seating is very nice with a great view of the lake. Food was also really good!
