I am taking time out of my night after coming back from extreme sweets and treats. Normally I don’t do this but tonight just really had me leave this review. I have lived in penitas for the past 22 years of my life I was here when it first opened up, everything was nice like the service, the food, the prices, and the greeting when it comes to the window. These new people have been here for the past I wanna say 2 years I believe and it has gone completely downhill from there. These past 5 times I have gone they have gotten my order wrong and somehow I keep going back with my hopes up. Mind you window sticker says “please check order before you take it” well tonight 6/15/24 I was greeted at the window with “Mande” ??????? Like excuse me I’m not giving orders or asking you for something for you to be saying “Mande” by this young big lady. The proper way should be “yes what could I get for you” or something right??? I ordered what’s called the revoltura paisa (as shown on picture) before I have given them my card I had asked for the purple Tostitos. Which is of my choosing. When order is done we get a shout of “hey el de los Tostitos” ummm okay no “excuse me” or “order for the “revoltura paisa”. Okay we get the order we kindly asked for PURPLE chips and they gave us green (mind you they were stale). We told them we had ordered the purple chips and they denied that we said that and we told them what’s the policy and do you follow by what the sign says about checking the order before taking it with you. They stood there didn’t know what to say. It was 9:50 they close at 10:00 and said they didn’t have any more “ purple chips” ???? No to me it sounded like they had cars on the window and didn’t wanna make another of of MY liking because they wanted to leave home already. Never coming again and this is poor service at its finest. Thank you

There’s a long wait time sometimes during the weekends or the afternoon, but I still wait. I LOVE their funnel cakes, it’s hard to easily get a funnel cake like that in the valley.

Used to be good. Waited 50min in line whith only 4 cars ahead; but worst part was that i got all my raspas with no juice nor lechera. Plain ice and no cherries. Why em i waiting 50min in line, wasting gas and paying $30+ dollars on plain ice? Horrible experience. Not coming back!

It takes forever to get something to eat here I was here since I just wanted something small for my lunch and it took them 45 mins to get 3 orders out which is so dumb. There was nobody in line and there was only 2 cars infront of me

My favorite snack place. Yes they take a while if there’s cars in front of you and if they ordered a lot of stuff. The way they prepare the snacks is exactly how it should be. The elote crunch with takis is the best elote en vaso I’ve ever had. I’d definitely recommend but be aware you might be waiting a while, just depends who’s in front of you in line.

Best raspa place in the valley!!! They have so many things on their menu. Highly recommend. I go very often! I always order a mango bomb raspa with almonds and ice cream in the middle. It’s soooo good specially if you want something sweet but not super sweet.
