On August 17,2024 I went through the drive through at this location in Texarkana. I was the only vehicle in line, no one in front, no one behind me. The employee, a female, asked me to hold on and did not return for at least five minutes. She only returned after I said “hello?” I ordered three bacon cheese burgers, one minus the cheese, a sprite, and spicy fries. I was told there are no longer spicy fries, no sprite and if I want a Dr. Pepper that it may taste funny. I was okay with this, stuff happens. I pull up to the window and pay ($39) and wait. Quite some time later my food arrives and I decided to check to see if my order was correct. Well, it wasn’t. Two of the “bacon” cheese burgers had no bacon and the requested “no cheese ” had cheese. As one could understand I was annoyed so I backed up,and explained my dilemma to the employee who seemed to not care. She said give me the burgers we’ll add the bacon. I just requested the bacon and added it when I got home. I was obviously annoyed and asked “how do you not put bacon in a bacon cheese burger?” Her response was that they are busy and there are only two of them. Being understaffed is no excuse for bad service and an uncaring attitude. I tried to be as empathetic as possible but felt cheated.
On the drive home I tasted the fries and they were horrible so I went to McDonald’s and ordered fries from there.
If this is the type of service given it’s no wonder the Steak and Shakes across the nation are going out of business.

Some very tasty burgers. The fries are the shoestring fries and they are perfect. Milkshake options to suit anyone. The burgers are probably the normal serving size for a normal person. I have never claimed to be normal so if you are real hungry you might need two of them. But they taste great.

Took 20 minutes to get my food in the drive through, even though I was the only car in line. After getting my food, I found out they had forgotten the top bun and all the condiments on my burger. After letting them know it took them another 10 minutes to fix their mistake. They didn’t even remake the burger. It sat under a heat lamp for the 10 minutes it took them to get a top bun together.

My order was:
Double Hamburger plain. Meat and bread only. And a Birthday Cake shake medium.
Wrong burger took 20 minutes. I didn’t know until after 40 minutes for the shake. So after about 1 hour I was finally able to sit down and eat.
This is why I feel fast food services don’t deserve $20 an hour.
This is also why I’ll never come back to this establishment.

The past four or so times I have been in here the past few months. The service and food were great. The younger lady upfront (serenity) is wonderful and goes above and beyond for customers. Never met her but since the first time I met her she never disappoints with her job. Glad to finally leave a good review somewhere. Cook is always timely and makes the food fresh, and it’s always hot.

The worst experience ever. Not only did the beverages taste like chemicals because they admittedly do not properly clean the beverage machine they also got my order incorrect twice and were out of everything. We ordered milkshakes and they were terrible and tasted repulsive so we asked to exchange them for fountain drinks. The young entitled lady there said normally I’d have to charge you but I won’t this time after taking the shakes that cost more than the fountain drink and switching them out. I watched how they were using cleaning products and it was mixing with the beverages. We gave our order in the drive thru at the speaker and had to reiterate it 11 times and they still got it incorrect. We had to turn back and get the sandwiches remade after waiting almost 35 minutes at the drive thru window. After they acknowledged and admitted that my family and I indeed were tasting chemicals as they were cleaning the machine moments prior to us ordering they didn’t offer any resolve. For the safety of your family and to prevent wasting time and money I wouldn’t frequent this establishment at all ever.
