I’ve seen this Chinese restaurant a couple of times while going to the Mexican restaurant next door but I have never tried it out because I thought it was take out only. It turns out it has seating for dining in and they also have a lunch buffet. Everything is fresh and delicious. I’ve been there twice now and it was terrific both times. They keep the place clean they keep the buffet filled with hot fresh food and the wait staff is always friendly. This is a little hidden gem that everyone needs to check out while in richburg area. It’s a great place for a quick lunch because everything is already waiting for you on the buffet. We’ve never had trouble getting a seat and my boss is handicapped and we’ve been able to get in and out easily. I’m not a fan of buffets but I like this place! A+++

I went with my family for the lunch buffet, after hearing good things. My first thought was that the bar was very small, compared to other chinese buffets I’ve been too. It turned out to be very good, though. Everything was well cooked and balanced. My local chinese buffet covers everything in a sickly sweet sauce. I leave feeling sick.
Here, everything was well cooked. Nothing was overly sweet, salty, or anything else. Everything tasted fresh. The fried rice and other items had what I guess you’d call the wok hei. Basically, it was hot enough to lend a smokey flavor to the product when it’s properly cooked.
So it was small, but well worth riding a bit further to go to. Everything was balanced and well cooked. The staff was friendly and didn’t let us run out of anything.

OMGGG! If you are ever waiting Chinese food and want some amazing service please I suggest to go here! The food, the presentation, and the service is amazing! I had a waitress and she was so wonderful and kind and patient and very helpful. Her name was Jasmine. If you ever do choose to go here I suggest you ask for Jasmine as your waitress! You will have an amazing time here. All love to all the other workers they were amazing as well!

Ok…so let me start off by saying.. I love Asian food.
Ordered crab rangoon..perfect…actually really good.
Then made the mistake ordering shrimp with lobster sauce. BIG big mistake! Really have a hard time figuring out what was wrong with it…
Food had an odd smell…even more odd flavor. Just did not taste right after first bite. Swallowed it..an my stomach said No No No.
Ended up taking it to go..and threw it in the trash. First time eating here. Cannot tell about rest of the food..but will not be coming back !

On our first trip to China Wok it was a great visit and we arrived at 2:15 and they had the buffet until 2:30. The waiter was very friendly and nice even offering to make more rice since the buffet was quite slim at this point.
We ate until 2:28 and my daughter wanted to take 2 egg rolls with her I saw no problem since the buffet literally was over in 2 minutes. This lady comes out of the back yells at her that she can’t take it. And keeps going on about it until I raised my voice and said Ok! We got it! Well two egg rolls will definitely go to waste now.
She watched us like a hawk and never said thank you or have a nice day.
That said the food was delicious but the attitude was not necessary.

Was actually pretty damn good. My mom and brother love this place.
Their Sesame Chicken has more flavor than any I’ve eaten. Their Crab Rangoon has to be made by angels. Heavenly. The egg roll was decent. Their rice was very good as well.
All around great experience and I will definitely be back.

Food was horrible. I asked for refund and he said no. He lied saying the chicken wings looked like what was advertised, but they were breaded fried wings. The food was not seasoned it was bland. The whole experience was awful. I didn’t eat the food. It tasted like something I could have made at home if I was attempting to make Chinese food myself. It was not Chinese food. Do not go here. I am warning anyone and everyone. Broccoli was not cooked at all. Egg roll over cooked. Rice was over cooked and old. Believe the bad reviews. Everything they said about this place was is true.

The food was not what it was suppose to be. The chicken wings were not what was advertised in the front. I refused to eat that. I stayed hungry while my family ate because we traveled a long way out of town for a wedding so I let them eat it. I just wanted MY food refunded.

China Wok located at 3191 Lancaster Hwy # C, Richburg, SC 29729 is a best of the Carolina’s Chinese Restaurant. They have a buffet that is actually great! Really, really excellent food here – their chefs are fantastic, and they use high quality ingredients here. It’s truly very unusual for the Carolinas to have great Chinese cuisine and this place has it! Even the egg rolls are great.
Try it – you’ll be surprised. Management and server were friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I were traveling from PA to Florida and wanted to stop somewhere for lunch. Never ate at China Wok. Small buffet, but food was OUTSTANDING. Definitely would stop again.
