Just found this place and it was so good!!! Chicken was good quality! Service was 5 Stars! Someone is constantly cleaning and asking if every customer was doing good. Small space inside with about 8 tables so might have to wait for a table but it’s worth it. Spicy lemon pepper was very good and saucy. Will be back.

We got to try Smashed N Sauced for the first time last Saturday! We came a little after 1 for lunch, and there were about 5 people ahead of us at the counter. The dining area is pretty small and crammed. There was only one table available, and it felt really tight walking over to it. The drinks are self-serve and located right next to where you order, making it difficult to squeeze past people. I ordered the chicken meal with smashed sauce and was told that that sauce wouldn’t taste good on my sandwich, which I thought was interesting. I got it on the side instead. The booth we sat in was pretty dirty, and the whole time we were there, I didn’t see any employees cleaning any of the tables. Sadly my chicken sandwich was just meh. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that specialize in chicken that taste better. Maybe their burgers have more flavor? The sauce was great and definitely would have taken my sandwich up a notch, so I’m not sure why the cashier advised against it.

Went to try the place after reading some good reviews. It’s certainly an eye catching logo but that’s about it, as far as the positive reviews are concerned. We had a single and a double smashed burger. Not having been there we had no clue what came in the burger so I asked for everything with Jalapeños. The burger came out with nothing but onions and a a few fresh jalapeños as far as vegetables. The onions tasted like the iron flavor from uncooked meat which affected the flavor of the burgers. Most smashed burgers we’ve had were kind of crispy exterior for which those were not. The fries were seasoned and good. It was clear they give large fries portions to make up for the small burgers. They only have a craft soda fountain but the sodas were good. The person taking the order was helpful and nice. This is a fast food establishment that uses the Point of Sale system that uses tip shaming so beware! I did give a tip not knowing how the restaurant worked but would not in the future as they don’t even bring your food out. Even Whataburger brings the food to your table without asking for 20%! One time try for us… Not worth the $ for the quality, atmosphere or quality. There are better options.

Went on a Saturday around 3 and it was quite busy. It is a small establishment with seeting indoors and a few outside. There was one cashier taking orders at the long window. The food was handed to people out of the same nook. It would have been less hectic if one side took the orders and the food was handed out at the opposite end. I kept feeling like I was in people’s way as not only was the one area both for orders and pick up, but also the soda fountain was in the same tight space.
Cashier was friendly and took my order with a smile. The person who handed me my food was also pleasant.
Order:
Double smash burger with Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was seasoned which I appreciated that it wasn’t bland. The burger was seasoned but hubby thought it was too salty for his liking.
6 wing combo with fries and coke slaw- you can have 2 flavors. I chose lemon pepper and jerk seasoning. Flavor was really good. The only thing for me is it was too saucy. I typically like my wings with a little sauce this was a lot of sauce. Make your own judgement based on my pictures. If I go again, I would definitely order the jerk wings but request less sauce. Fries were fries. Coleslaw was not for me.

If your on the fence about coming here , get of and run here! This place is amazing everything cooked to temp, clean and environment was inviting. Ali took our order and was very attentive to our needs gave honest opinion and helped with our decision making. I had the 4 piece tenders in mango habanero , the Texas dog, loaded chicken fries and the smash burger. All were as the kids say ‘bussin’. We will be back!

Don’t walk, run here for the best halal burgers ! The food was amazing the staff is very friendly. My favorite is the smashed burger I added jalapeños to make it more spicy. And the mango habanero chicken sauce is fire!! The fries are seasoned perfectly. Lastly they have yummy tres leches desserts .

It is cramped. Really busy when we went, but we got lucky to get a table. Food was good. Only Dan’s has a better smash burger. The chicken was mediocre or average. Good big portions (have to be for the price). Overall, it is a good place to eat here and there.

Smashed N Sauced absolutely lives up to the name. The chicken is perfectly crispy, juicy inside, and drowned in flavor without being greasy. The honey hot sauce is elite—sweet, spicy, and addictive. The chicken sandwich was stacked, messy in the best way, and the fries were seasoned just right.
The loaded chicken mac & cheese was rich and filling, the coleslaw was fresh and balanced, and even the sauces (ranch + spicy peach) hit hard. You can tell they don’t cut corners here. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tasted made-to-order.
If you’re in Austin and not eating here, you’re wasting meals. I’ll be back—soon.
