I don’t understand the 4.5 stars. Very disappointed. Don’t go at 4:30 pm or you get reheated chicken, fries, chicken stripes from lunch.
Chicken was just thrown back in oil to heat it which made it extremely greasy. Fries the same as well as the chicken stripes. .I’ve had really great fried chicken and this was FAR from it. The floors were super dirty and honestly so was the restroom….please get a new toilet seat for the women’s restroom it looks 20 years old.

The food is amazing! The prices are very reasonable. I have never had such good fried pickles in my life. The BLT was delicious and fried okra too! My husband loves his chicken sandwich and onion rings. It’s a hole in the wall, but very clean and tidy. The employees are great. We will definitely come again when we find ourselves near the area. I highly recommend it!

This was the best fried chicken and macaroni salad we have had in a while. You can tell the chicken is made fresh using fresh oil…..and the seasoning mix for the breading is divine! The fries were also fresh and crispy. Just a no frills diner experience for the best chicken!!!

These folks have the best fried chicken that I have had in so long I can’t remember when I had fried chicken that good.
They were very welcoming to me and the ambience was perfect for a small, side of the highway spot that tells you exactly what to expect by the name of the place.
