A fantastic breakfast spot, especially for train enthusiasts! This classic diner sits right next to the train tracks, so you can enjoy the sight and sound of passing trains while you eat.
I tried their omelet and an orange milkshake, and it turned out to be the perfect combo. The portion was huge. The service was fast and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

Highly recommended

I absolutely love this place. I have been going here since I was 4, and am now 26, living in a different state, and I still make trips to come back when I am back in the Erie area. Food is excellent, I have always loved the theme of the restaurant and I have always ensured to get a window seat to watch the CSX trains go by! Takes me back to when I was a kid watching the trains go by while I have a tasty Cheeseburger and fries. Pies are fantastic and overall this place is just an absolute gem.

This was the worst meal we have ever had at All Aboard Diner. The cook doesn’t know what he or she is doing. They need trained on how to cook in a full menu restaurant. (I was a restaurant cook for 16 years, Liver and Onions doesn’t take that long to cook, the onions take the longest).
There were only a couple of people in the diner when I came in to pick up our Go Order (10-19-2025 @ 3:50-4pm).
I ordered the Liver & Onions and my husband ordered the chicken parmesan and chicken salad.
My liver, and even the onions were burnt to a crisp and the potato was even over baked (see picture), Absolutely awful, very disappointed, this should have been thrown out and started over again. My husband said the chicken was like rubber, he couldn’t even cut it with a knife and it wasn’t even the right kind of chicken? it was (2) large pieces of boneless chicken instead of breaded chicken. Also the chicken, on the chicken salad was over cooked. I’m not sure but I think the grilled chicken should have been on the salad and the breaded chicken should have been on the Parmesan dinner. On occasion we order from this restaurant on Sundays and I always get the Liver & Onions and this experience was the worst.
I’ve always had an excellent meal with good portions, to go; but not this time, and for the money we spent ($42.), I had to say something. You need a new cook, he or she doesn’t know what they are doing, with only (5) people in the restaurant, besides employees, there is no excuse for how our meals were prepared.

Our family of five stopped at All Aboard Dinor around 11 a.m. in July 2025, and it was packed wall to wall. We could tell right away this was a local favorite—and for good reason. The place has that charming, classic diner vibe with train-themed decor that adds a unique character and makes the wait feel like part of the experience.

Because it was so busy, the service was on the slower side. We waited a bit longer than we would have liked for our food and refills, but honestly, once the meals came out, it was well worth it. The portions were huge, and the prices were extremely reasonable—something that’s getting harder to find these days.

I ordered the Trainman’s Potatoes, and let me tell you, they were fantastic. Crispy on the edges, piled high, loaded with flavor—definitely the kind of hearty, satisfying dish you hope to find in a diner like this. Everyone at the table cleaned their plates, and nobody left hungry. Total cost was $47 plus $13 tip, for 5 people.

If there’s one knock, it’s the coffee. It was very weak—so light you could almost see through it. If you’re a serious coffee drinker looking for a strong brew to kickstart your day, this probably won’t cut it. But if you’re here for a nostalgic, stick-to-your-ribs meal in a fun atmosphere, All Aboard Dinor delivers.

In all, it was a memorable stop, twice a train came thru. Great value, a fun setting, and food that hits the spot—just maybe grab your coffee elsewhere.

All Aboard Diner is absolutely something special. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. The staff is highly attentive and accommodating. The fare is good, and the portions are large. Pricing is not only fair, it’s competitive. This place is a home run. I recommend the prime rib French dip hoagie, the chili. My wife enjoyed the fish and warm pecan pie with ice cream. Our son loves the chicken tenders and the model train running the track throughout the interior as well as the real trains passing just outside the window.
We look forward to our next visit.

Their breakfasts were good, I ate there a couple times for breakfast. But not overly impressed with the dinners. I had fish before which was good. The last time the fish wasn’t as good. Not sure if they changed the brand or where they get the frozen fish. I would definitely recommend it for breakfast and lunch. I have not been there lately.

Was excited to try this place after reading reviews. The idea of train station and decor are cute, and the waitress were super sweet. I did see a centipede run across the floor, which freaked me out and the toast was black , burned to a crisp. The “wreck of the 79” was very good.

Fun little diner where you can watch the trains go by right outside your window. We have been here for breakfast many times, but stopped for lunch today. I had a delicious burger and my wife enjoyed their turkey club. This is good home made food with friendly servers. Always a solid local crowd here, so you know its good! Try their pie…in fact, eat it first so you don’t have an excuse not to get it .
