This is exactly how a business can lose stars.
Going in to dine on Friday 2/20/26 my plus one and I had a entirely different experience from the first visit, in which the female employee influenced our return and patronage.
Dressed casually in this casual setting that was well lit. We came to take advantage of a deal that was advertised “combo BOGO 50% off” within the hours of the promotion, but we were taken advantage of!
Asking the employee for the advertised combo he specifically and directly point at the sandwich menu which was significantly higher priced starting at $18.
It looks like a steak sandwich, I asked if it was a burger, he stated that it comes like a burger. So we each ordered that and with onion rings.
He stated that they come with French fries, we said we wanted to have onion rings for an extra charge. I’m starting to notice a language comprehension challenge in the exchange as he kept saying that the sandwich comes with fries,
He later confirms our order minus fries and stated that there’s $.75 extra.
Sitting down viewing the aesthetics as stated previously, we started observing the menu closer and noticed that the menu says ” burger combos” starting at $11. Questions does arise about the promo.
Talking to the employee, asking why does the menu say combo and you pointed to the sandwich, his reply was that sandwiches are the only combos that they have. I replied but that sign says sandwiches and the other menu says burger combos and you pointed to the sandwiches, why would you point to the sandwich. I was looking for his guidance into the right direction.
If looks could kill, he’d be serving a life sentence. I interpreted the look as he was caught in a trap with no way out because he said they only had one comb, So he admitted, after interrogation that we could have ordered the P. S Burger combo.
His tactics to spend my money was misleading in every shape form or fashion.
The sandwiches (not a burger even though it looked like a burger) had chunks of steak and was falling apart every time you bit into it, leaving chunks of meat in your mouth, that you must now negotiate in order not to choke.
We could have walked away happy and satisfied spending $18 minus tax. Instead I spent $18 on one sandwich for a total of $28.5. ( 2 orders of onion rings and the BOGO)
To add, they bring you the food, put a tip jar out, and expect you to tip on top of being taken for $10 extra. So the extra went into revenue, not the tip jar.
I actually thought P.S Burger would add to our palate but it’s just not going to work out. The employee’s actions led us to spend more than intended, and that affected the overall experience.

First time customer at P.S. Burgers. Ordered 2 different burgers, one of them was chicken. Everything was really really good. The food came out hot and fresh. The burgers are juicy and full of flavor, cooked just right. The place has a fun vibe and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The fries were decent but not as good as the burger so i only like chicken burger but definitely try.

Being from queens, we don’t have good burger spots left. We came here for a doctor appointment and found this diamond in plain sight! The options are endless, the burgers are thick, the ingredients are fresh! The service is friendly and familiar to the area (something about personal friendly service is different). The price is good and absolutely worth it!!! The burgers were perfect, a little charcoal taste with a lot of character :). It is definitely worth the trip just for the burgers. Thank you for the excellent experience we’ll see you again soon.

Chicken wings and fries, served with hot sauce, ranch dressing, and a hot aioli. It wasn’t very busy at 2 pm but there was a good amount of foot traffic and the food came out pretty quickly. Wings were delicious, cooked crispy, and moist. I’ll definitely be back to try the burgers, they looked amazing. In fact, I was pissed I didn’t order the Bison burger. Next time!

P.S. Burgers is a clean establishment with friendly service. I ordered a regular burger with cheese, fries, and a chocolate milkshake to go. It took a little longer for my order than I expected, but that could be because I have frequented too many fast food restaurants. I could tell they use high-quality meat, but my burger was cooked far beyond well done, so it didn’t taste good. Next time, I will know to ask for it to be cooked medium. The fries were excellent and a large serving that I could not finish them. The milkshake, while freshly made, had too much chocolate flavoring for my taste and was too thin.

Got a take out. At home we were shocked how GOOD the burgers were. I got Canadian with the veal. So much flavor, it’s insane! The burgers seem to be priced well below their quality and size which are just superb. Will definitely be back for more! The staff/owner is very nice as well.

Delivery on their site doesn’t work, but Uber eats did a quick delivery to my hotel. I got the bison burger with fried pickles. The pickles were thick but crispy – my favorite! Burger totally hit the spot on a cold January night after travel and business meetings. Will definitely do PS Burger again for a quick bite when I’m in the area.
