Went in for the Friday fish fry. Hubby had the walleye and I had the perch. Both were just delicious. Ordered the bread pudding for take home but after sampling it I couldn’t stop eating. Just the best. Will come back for the smoked meats another night.

Read the reviews and had to stop. Got the “Gobbler” which is 2 meats and 2 sides. Tried the fresh smoked chicken and the pulled pork. It was delicious! Staff was amazing, friendly and cared about your experience. Several different BQ sauces, all were great. Can’t wait to go back and try the brisket, however, the Friday fish sounds fantastic too.

Moved to the area and we love BBQ, but haven’t found anywhere. Then my wife suggested we try The Shack and realized I’ve driven by this place multiple times but never stopped. Let’s just say I’m very happy we did and we now have a regular BBQ spot at our new place! Very very good, wife had the brisket sandwich and I did the pulled pork w/ Mac n Cheese…so good! Oh and the bread pudding: highly recommended a stop!

This place recently opened and I had to come to try it cause I love BBQ and I love KRB in wautoma and wanted to see how they compare. I went on a Friday and that was a mistake apparently cause they offer NO BBQ only a fish fry so yes was bummed but will say the perch was really good and there tartar sauce is the best I’ve had. I’d definitely recommend this place for a fish fry for the price you get a generous meal. I’ll come back again for my review on the BBQ

I was blown away! I am extremely picky about brisket and always smoother pulled pork in bbq! Not here! The amazing tenderness of the brisket outstanding. And the pulled pork has so much flavor! I would not insult it with a sauce! Hands down a 10! The people were alao very friendly! Gonna be our favorite spot!
