We stopped by this little Indian sweet shop and eatery to pick up some traditional sweets. The owner/ staff member was attentive, patiently helping us choose from a wide variety of options. We ended up buying about a pound’s worth.

While some of the sweets were quite good, not all of them felt fresh — a few seemed like they had been sitting out for a bit. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it didn’t exactly wow us either.

The lady also mentioned they serve typical North Indian or Punjabi-style meals and breakfast items, though we didn’t get a chance to try those. Overall, the service was lovely, and the sweets were decent — just not the freshest or most memorable we’ve had.

Don’t expect this to be a restaurant, this review is from a perspective of an Indian sweet shop. Portion sizes are small for the size.

Authentic Punjabi rural cuisine! True taste of Punjab which is very lightly altered to suit non-Indians.

Sweets: I don’t think there can be a better besan burfi that you can buy. 100% authentic!

Also bought til bhugga which is special for Lohri. No other place I know that sells till bhugga. Besides that we ordered badana.

Our family had a meal, we ordered samosa, dal makhani, paneer butter masala, yogurt, choley bhature and gobhi parantha.

Highly recommend choley bhature and dal. Naam is must try!

Don’t recommend gobhi parantha.

The girl at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. Good service overall.

Average place, maybe this is a sweets only place. Tried their Chole Bhature – was very average. Have had much better around the area.
Chole were really disappointing. Add to that they have a 10% surcharge for dine in! Really disappointed

I bought one pound of Kalakand for $13 and when I opened the package it was watery and tasted only like paneer. Also staff was not willing to admit.

Visited here accidentally but turned out to be a great one! We ordered Ras malai (like a spongy cake drowned in milk and spices) and that was so yummy. The milk wasn’t too sweet. Then we tried the veggie samosa and that tasted fresh, served warm, big portion with fresh chutneys on the side.

They seemed to have a nice close-knit community relying on this shop and that made the vibe pretty intimate in the shop. All in all we would try more of their food and sweets if we are around the area again!

Bought samosas from them twice and the potatoes looked spoiled and had black spots on them but they still used them for filling. Please don’t use spoiled ingredients for the food

Small familiar place. Never had Colombian food before and was highly impressed with it. Our waiter took care of us and she was able to explain the items on the menu and gave us some recommendations. The tamales were fire . Definitely going back
