We wanted a classy restaurant with great food to celebrate a special occasion, and this place was perfect.
We had 6 dishes between us and all were perfect. The staff were lovely and very attentive – plates were cleared as soon as we finished eating.
Will definitely come again.

I’m so glad that the team that created the wonderful Frédéric Bistro has launched this classy additional restaurant.
It’s something quite special. The service is great, and food is exceptional.
Pork belly with apple crumble sorbet was delicious and surprisingly refreshing.
Cod for main course was deliciously tender.
And for dessert, crème brûlée with rhubarb and ginger. Oh yes.

What an amazing experience with GR8 food. We went for the Sunday Roast (Sirloin). The food and service far exceeded my expectations.

What a lovely experience. Thank god restaurant dining the old fashion way isnt dead yet. Fred and the team did an amazing job. The bar is beautifully done, with open airy windows, a nice outside. Makes you feel like you are not in Maidstone, which is a blessing. We very much enjoyed the experience. Surprisingly out of the well presented food, the desert was the winning (I am not a desert man) , & the trolley full of treats was even too much choice for my pallet. We shall be back for a blanc to blanc again. Merci.

We had a wonderful experience at Frédéric Maison last night on the first night of the release of their Christmas menu. The food was absolutely excellent, the ambience was elegant yet relaxed, and we could actually talk and hear ourselves! The staff were genuinely lovely throughout, and when we raised a small issue, they handled it with such grace and care that we felt truly looked after.
It’s great to have tried this new extension of Frédéric’s Bistro, and I’m already looking forward to going back. A beautiful addition to the area and a place I’ll happily return to again and again.

Food was of exceptional quality. We had the pork belly for starters, which was delicious. Then three out of the group of four ordered the ox cheek, and my word was it melt in your mouth level. We were all raving about that dish! I’ve frequented the Bistro round the corner a few times, and highly rate the original venue. From our first experience at the Maison, I would say it’s just as good!

We have eaten many times now in what must be the finest restaurant in Maidstone. Whatever the event be it the two of us or with friends we have had excellent food, attentive a service , great choice of wines and a stunning selection of single malt whisky! We and all the friends we have taken to Maison Frederic recommend it highly.

Had a lovely meal, nice and friendly staff. I had the lamb which was lovely however the pistachio crumb contained mustard which wasn’t mentioned on the menu, for me personally the mustard overpowered the taste of the lamb and really wasn’t needed.
The starter of pork belly and ham croquettes were so good and the salted caramel tart was also delightful.

We’ve been twice now and both times the food was exceptional and the service excellent. Highly recommend the seafood platter and the duck breast. The bordelaise sauce with the steak was delicious too.
Wide selection of wines and knowledgeable staff. Plus a wonderful drinks trolley brought to your table to select a whisky or rum to round off the night.
