Horrible everything. 9.99 for a plate of hardly any chicken and a bunch of fry’s which they burnt. Realized the cashier didn’t give the ranch dip she asked if i wanted for both meals and when i told her she gave an attitude and then gave an even more attitude when she sensed my frustration. Just the worst. Definitely will not be back.

Our shoes stuck to the floor when we were walking around. After being there for a while we noticed the kitchen did not look too sanitary either. We were served a bowl of moldy banana pudding. The woman at the counter was polite, but it all around seemed like one big dumpster fire.

Ordered loaded mac and cheese for delivery for nearly $20. They sent me less than half a bowl. Absolutely ridiculous.
:edit: I reached out to their QA team a couple of days ago as they requested. No response yet. I would absolutely be willing to update this review to a positive one if they respond. I’ll try to keep the review updated.

First of all, it is so hot in the building I was sweating. I realize that is not necessarily the restaurant’s fault, but it is still a negative experience. The food is inconsistent, and not making your own ranch makes it worse. Edit to add: we loved this place when it first opened. It was well worth the price. Now I’m not sure we will be back.

When I picked up my food only 1 of the 2 cashiers was friendly. The other had a snippy attitude and you could tell she just didn’t want to be there. There really isn’t a lot of room to maneuver so you’re kinda bumping into people and shimmying around. As far as the food goes I’d say it was a major letdown. The “meals” don’t come with a drink, just fries. I will say the okra is fantastic! It was seasoned and fried to perfection! The waffle fries, however, were completely underwhelming. The shakes are way overpriced to be just basic/bland flavors. Also, I have NO idea what they serve as “mac & cheese.” It was essentially cheesy noodle soup! I’d like to say the chicken sandwich was good but it wasn’t. It had potential but I ordered it with hot sauce and there was only sauce on about 1/3 of the chicken patty. The rest was just dry. If it’s a SAUCED sandwich it should come SAUCED. The pickles were nice and thick so I did enjoy those. To be perfectly honest, most of my meal went in the trash. I only ate my okra, drank my shake, had about 4 waffle fries, 1 bite of mac, and 2 bites of my sandwich. I would only go back for okra and funnel cake fries. I feel like I wasted $20+.

I haven’t been eating here 3 times already around the middle of the night and there is not that busy or sometime is not busy at all. The food is super delicious as always I love their fried chicken so much with the angry hot ! BUT THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL I am so disappointed and upset Me and my husband were so hungry and ordered 6 chicken fingers (add more 2$) and what we got was 4 pcs with 2 lil tiny small chicken fingers I was not okay at all and tbh it happened when I ordered to go as well I was wondering it doesn’t show the extra order? Then my husband asked them to change at least they changed for us Thank you so much for that but the lady in front of the cashier was acting annoyed us for some reason and before I left I was sitting in the car and looking outside she was walking to our table and I saw her face was acted like “Ew” didn’t want to touch our table or what I meant I cleaned for you a lil bit as much as I can We didn’t asked much from you at all We were just super hungry and ask for what we supposed to have! Also last time We ordered the shakes we waited for 20 mins for 1 shakes We saw they were busy so we didn’t rush them at all until people got their food except us My husband asked her and she was just “Oh” and walk in to do the shakes without any apologies from forgetting. I love their food AND THATS THE ONLY REASON I’m going back once in awhile

Another fried chicken place, ho hum right? Not so fast my friend, Hangry Joe’s is fried chicken but it’s bursting with flavor. It’s chicken flavored with attitude! By itself, it’s better than most but add some hangry sauce or one if the other flavors on this chicken and you found a winning combination. They’ve got some hot if you want or just flavorful. The medium heat was good enough for me. I’m gonna say it, their fresh waffle fries are the best and I don’t say that lightly. Again, they have flavor. We decided to try a milkshake and even that cookies and cream tasted like we were sucking cookies through a straw. When visiting a town, I generally don’t eat at the same restaurant twice, but my family insisted we return to Hangry Joe’s. I didn’t hesitate, we all loved it more than expected. We gotta get one of these a little further north! Oh and I almost forgot the waffle, just get it, you will not regret it.

The food was actually excellent here!! When the food came out, me and my wife dug and and stuffed our faces and it was AMAZING at first!! But as we continued to eat, I noticed I started feeling a little uneasy and off. Also the food got cold quickly and didn’t quite hit like how it did when it first came out! My wife’s fries came out cold and had a strand of hair in her waffles. They kindly replaced her waffles with ease but I noticed the waffles were fried! They were AMAZING at first but it was all the oil the waffles absorbed while getting fried that made me feel a little nauseous. The bone in chicken was bangin’ and everything else was spot on, but just slightly disappointed. May give another try in the future cuz I see the potential being super high! I honestly want to give this place another try again in the future!!

Unfortunately, the wrap was doused in so much sauce that I started to get sick from it pretty fast. The bowl of Rice & Chicken wasn’t bad, but was not as good as we were expecting.
If you love chicken (especially spicy chicken), this may be the place for you.

I want to love this place, but the wings are always a coin toss whether they’ll be good or not. Sometimes, they hit the nail on the head and you get crispy, well seasoned wings, and sometimes you get soggy, overly seasoned wings.
This time, I asked for extra crispy and they were soggy and caked with the dry rub. I have never had these be so caked with dry rub before.
On top of that, as you can see in the picture, not only are the wings not crispy, but they aren’t even done in the middle. This really ruined the whole meal for me.
Unfortunately, the one thing that is constant with Hangry Joe’s is that the ranches are always 1/4 to 1/2 filled. I don’t know if it is a management policy to under-fill the ranch cups, but they always are.
Like I said, I want to love this place and give a 5 star review (and I will if this changes). Until the quality control becomes constant, I will always be scared to open the box and find out if I’ll be happily surprised or, as usual, disappointed.
