The only reason this place gets 3 stars is because of the location. It’s beautiful sitting outside overlooking the golf course. Very relaxing. The service is still not good. I waited 25 minutes for a glass of water and a drink. The food continues to go downhill. I don’t think there’s ever been a time when they were not out of whatever I wanted to order. My Burger was overcooked and dry with no lettuce or tomato and a burnt bun. Most of the food has very little flavor and the menu is not creative. I enjoy going there but I really hope they would fix the issues with the kitchen and the service.

I had dinner with a few friends at The Veranda Cafe and had a very nice evening. There was a private party inside, so we sat outside in the back. The view of the golf course was nice. The menu was on the smaller side, but they offered burgers, pastas, sanwiches, etc. The service was great even though the server seemed busy with tables inside as well as outside. There is a bar so we were able to get a glass of wine with dinner.

Delicious food, great staffs and service. The outdoor dining area is overlooking the tee off of Silver Lake GC with plenty of space for social distancing and follow strict NYS protocol during the pandemic. I highly recommend the location for parties and dining for lunch and dinner with friends.

The venue is beautiful. Tried to book a baby shower and was told to look at menu online. When I arrived to plan my event I was given a brunch menu that was breakfast, no lunch in the brunch for $49.95, double price of online menu that said “upd 2021”. Was told everything online was old and prices and menu (that had lunch choices in the brunch) were wrong. Very disappointed.

The kitchen is open! Even though the place looks packed out, it is probably a bunch of golfers out on the course. The restaurant is called the Veranda because of the view and relaxing place it is to enjoy the food and drink. Thanks again.

Slop on a plate…..Go outside and view a bunch of old Staten Island Goons smoking away…..Waiters and waitresses have IQs under 70. This place seriously needs to be condemned,,,,,,,I thought smoking was illegal in a restaurant ???? Besides,,,,,the food would make you want to vomit…..Friendliness of ZERO.
