We visited Long Branch Grill over Valentine’s Day weekend with a group of 14, and they were able to seat us right away, which was impressive given how busy they were. The staff was very friendly, and ordering was quick and efficient.
The food was really good, and considering how packed the restaurant was that day, everything came out fairly fast. Drinks were delicious as well. And thank you for the beautiful flowers — such a nice touch for the occasion.
I’m taking one star off only because of the asparagus portion. It was very small — thin asparagus spears and only five pieces. As someone who loves greens, I would have appreciated a more generous serving. That’s the only thing I would change.
Overall, a great experience, especially on such a busy holiday weekend.

Tonight was my son and my first time eating here and it was amazing our waitress was very attentive and very quick and kind. The food was outstanding! The Alfredo sauce tasted homemade. The chicken sandwich was very big and the mozzarella sticks were the best I’ve ever had. I also recommend the 1919 root beer float! We will definitely be back and we will tell our friends about this place.

Stopped in for lunch. Super clean! Wait staff is friendly. I had the lunch special; a loaded baked potato topped with buffalo chicken, $12. Not too spicy. Just tight. My husband the walleye sandwich with fries; $13. The fish was lightly breaded and tasty.

Everything was amazing! We have went a total of 4 times and it just gets better every time! I wish I would have taken more photos but I forgot as soon as I seen the food.
I love the seasonal cocktails, each drink gets its own special glass and the presentation is always fun.
For dinner I had the prime rib, loaded baked potato, and caesar salad. The prime rib was tasty, but the au jus and horseradish took it to the next level.
Service was also great. We were seated immediately and our server was very attentive.

The portion sizes are really generous. Had salmon, rice and green beans. And it was all good. The baked sweet potato was huge.

This place is a jewel of a restaurant. Our son took us out to eat for his dad’s birthday, because according to him the food is “fire”. As soon as we arrived we were promptly seated by a very nice hostess and given menus and asked what we would like to drink. Our server was polite and had a smile every time she visited our table, which was quite often. She took our order and even suggested something we might enjoy. Our drinks were never empty and she asked more than once if we needed anything. The food was so good. I chose the garlic shrimp on rice pilaf. It was seasoned to perfection. My son chose his regular dish. A Cajun beef Alfredo pasta dish. My husband chose a smothered chicken dish. We all enjoyed our meal very much. I can’t wait to go back. Since we are seniors, we may have to save a bit before returning. In my opinion though the food was well worth the price. Next time I go I would like to try the pasta dish my son had, it looked yummy. I would recommend this small yet somewhat elegant restaurant to anyone. Depending on your income this place might just be for special occasions though. But nonetheless we’ll worth the money.

Water staff made mistakes with my order. The first was corrected promptly. The second one I didn’t report . The steak lacked flavor and was not tender. The restaurant is likely to be as good as any in this area.

My first time in the new location. The food is still really good and is just like I remember from the old location.
The wait staff, as usual, is incredibly friendly and attentive.
The decor needs some work. The restaurant feels like it is missing something. The walls are nearly bare which gives off a cold, spartan atmosphere.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but definitely worth stopping in. All 5 of us loved our food! Our family is pretty picky so it’s rare we like everything. We all agreed that every dish was excellent. We will be back next time we are in Lake Shelbyville.

Me and my wife stopped in here yesterday the service was amazing the food was just as amazing anytime anyone walked past they were asking if we needed anything. They get busy quick I seems. If you are going for dinner I’d recommend getting there early but overall great place we will be back!!!
