I have a lot to say about this establishment. I’m not a hard customer. I know what I want, order it, and don’t cause any issues. But today was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. When we got seated to the table, it was filthy. The napkin holder had seafood sauce all over it, my hands were super greasy. The worst part though, the booths were oily and my side had crab pieces left over imagine going to try a new spot and see oily making holders and leftover seafood in ur seat. It shoulda been my first red flag. The server took 10 minutes to come over. She seemed as if she didn’t wanna be there. Anyways- we got the food. And it was disappointing to say the least. There was barely any sauce. We asked the waitress if that’s all the sauce and she said yes and asked if we want to order more sauce. I’m not paying for extra sauce that shoulda been with the boil. It also smelled super fishy. I’m a seafood connoisseur and know from The boil shack how much sauce is supposed to come and how it should smell. I’ve entered a photo below of how the crab sizes were. Anyways, other customers were being super loud and it was frustrating to us. With the service and food, I will genuinely never ever come back here. I’ll take my business to boil shack. They know how to give proper portions, sauce, and how TO BE CLEAN! I need a manager to follow up because this is quite insane. This place needs to be shut down and have proper cleaning. Also, I spent 15 minutes on this boil. I’ve never had a seafood boil take me 15 minutes to eat; usually 45. This is so disappointing.

We stopped by this restaurant while passing through, as they specialize in seafood.
I really liked the concept — you choose the products that you enjoy, and they prepare them for you. The presentation was simple yet interesting.
We ordered shrimp, mussels, and a lobster tail with corn to share between two people, and the portion was so generous that we couldn’t finish it. The restaurant is located inside a shopping mall, with entrances both from the street and from inside the mall.
Overall, a nice experience for seafood lovers.

I am a foodie and I love seafood but I did not love this restaurant. The food was okay, the veggies and potatoes in the boil were somehow undercooked, and the butter tasted incredibly fake. The hush potatoes were mediocre. I would give it one more try in hopes the food and service is better. They have a bar but we came at early dinner so the atmosphere was moderate noise.

My friend and I decided to get tickets to see the sold out Karlos Miller show at the Funny Bone at Crossgates last night
Show was good and timely. The vibe and crowd was cool
After the show we decided to stop by Aloha Krab Albany
I never been here so was excited to see what it was about
I really wanted to try the seafood boil but I wasn’t quite dressed for it .
So I got some fingers snacks instead
My friend ordered the crispy shrimp po boy with a side of crab fries.
I got hush puppies, mini crab cakes, and coconut shrimp
I loveddddd all the dipping sauces. Especially
That yum yum sauce.
The food came out quick and was hot. And all the staff there friendly . Especially manager Roman.
I want to go back tho and try the seafood boil food boil.

Unfortunately, my experience here was not pleasant. One staff’s attitude was rude and unwelcoming, which already set a negative tone. What made it worse was seeing a staff member getting her hair done inside the restaurant during service hours. That felt unprofessional and out of place in a dining environment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their standards.

I had to take a look at the reviews of course before we went. People were hating hard on the service or lack there. Well they were clearly impatient. The first positive sign we would have a good time was the hostess telling us she didn’t like the feel of the menus, and got us brand new ones… Thank you for that!
We had Jasmina as a waitress and she was excellent and very attentive. I’m not a huge seafood person but I really did enjoy it so much. I tore that ish up!!! I ordered the long island and had two of them and felt real good.. the bartender was on point.
We were also met with so much attention and respect that it was worthy of us telling staff in the moment. Not many places do you go where EVERYONE is polite and willing to make sure your meal is perfect.
If you are dogging this place, you need to try it again and tell em Vin Vin sent you… I’m trying to see something.

First time trying this place. And it was an overall really good experience. The food was delicious and the service was even better. The GM was super friendly to us, very attentive, even on a busy Saturday evening. The fried rice was delicious (not shown in picture). We also got the seafood boil with the Old Bay seasoning and also tried the Aloha sauce – sooooo good! It’s a must try!

Service was not great, however, the servers are obviously trying at least. The seafood boil was lukewarm, which i have never encountered before. The pasta with marinara sauce was amazing though and the one thing I did enjoy. The drink were very strong which is a plus or minus depending on the person, but the drinks overall were not appetizing in appearance and tasted interesting. Nothing bad was said, however, I don’t believe it’s professional to talk about an issue with customers while sitting at the bar that the customers are seated next to. This made the atmosphere quite awkward, but it is a nice and quiet restaurant to dine in nonetheless.

We arrived at Aloha Bar and grill on a Sunday at about 4:30pm. Our waiter sat us and gave us a menu. He came back a bit later and took our drink and appetizer order. We ordered the Crab bread as an appetizer. That was a massive disappointment. It was the bottom half of a six in sub roll with maybe a few teaspoons of crab on it, almost like a garlic bread and for 10 dollars that’s insane. It was four 2×1 inch pieces of bread. It took our waiter some time to come back to us, probably 10-15 minutes. Then he took our actual order. We both ordered the crab Po Boy. It took about 20 minutes to arrive. It was okay, but literally had maybe two tablespoons of shredded crab meat at most on the whole sandwich. There were bites of my sandwich that had no crab at all.Not a lot of crab involved for it being a crab spot. Our waiter never came back to check on us. When my husband asked for the check, he just took his card and walked away. It was not massively busy. Maybe 4 tables outside of our own. It was a little disappointing, I really wanted to love it.

Im sorry i didnt like it being a foodie. Crawfish meal looked as if potato was eaten by another guest and was saved and reserved, food was cool (who eats cold seafood? NOT ME!), wings were good (lemon pepper) was the freshest and tastiest. 1st and last time patronizing this place. Wine was a sippie sip ( Chardonnay) . Im just over upstate and the trash food it has to offer. Barely ate my food. Full of Noodles
