We attempted to serve delicious pizza at my son’s 16 yo party. We usually dine in and have no complains about the place in the past. We also used the delivery service twice before. For my son’s party I wanted to order from domino’s but my husband convinced me to order from Anthony’s. It was a small group of teenagers (10). I ordered extra because they are usually hungry and ready for pizza. I ordered 5 pizzas, 3 cheese and 2 pepperonis. Two things went wrong with the order. It was left outside in the porch. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out they were outside. Pizzas were a bit cold but that’s ok. To my surprise only 2 boxes were finished (pepperoni) & one cheese pizza was barely touch. Two were left completely untouched/eaten. Take a look at the pictures. They were burnt, cold and a bit too salty. Thank God I baked cookies and brownies…the sweets saved the day. 137$ worth of pizza ended mostly in my garbage can today.
Anthony’s, I hope you improve your pizzas as we really like to dine in here. We might be back to the restaurant but we will NEVER order for a party ever again.

Tried a few things: Caesar salad, margarita pizza, buffalo wings, and garlic knots. They were all tasty but the wings were my favorite! Will definitely come back to try the other menu items. Also, service was great. We were seated right away and the server was always checking up on us so kudos to him!

First time here and the service was amazing. For drinks, two appetizers and a pizza our tab was under $50. The pizza was good, and those garlic knots, addicting! The wings were nothing special but I would definitely come back. Also Wednesdays they have a $10 cheese pizza sale and a rewards program.

New pizza place I tried in Bethesda is my new favorite spot! I’m embarrassed to share I started finishing the food before taking photos. I’m very picky with chicken wings and I give this a 10/10- I got the dry rub with blue cheese and the garlic knots! Service was amazing as well and answered all questions on how food was cooked and checked up on us frequently.

This was our second visit to this restaurant. First time, Crystal was our server and was just fabulous. This second time, we had Brian, who was also extremely capable and courteous. So far, the dining room has a great performance but to my surprise the kitchen is missing adult supervision. My pizza bottom and edges were burned black. It felt like I was eating charcoal particles. I felt that particles of charcoal had landed on top of my pizza. The roasted chicken wings were good but were either under cooked or over exposed in the 900 degree oven – the meat did not pull easily from the bones. The Anthony’s classic salad with tuna was fresh and tasty. The rigatoni and meatball was tasty but would have been better if this entree was offered with 2 meatballs and served hotter. The draft Yuengling beer was served nice and cold – refreshing. When we were leaving, we noticed that the front greeting area and pathway were very slippery. I thought the floor had been mopped with grease. I almost fell down. This restaurant is very unbalanced. I don’t understand the concept and will leave it at that. P.S. Lessons need to be given to the kitchen staff on how to control the heat of their oven. This will dramatically improve their “coal fired” cooking.

This pizza was pretty good, nothing outstanding about it. There was tons of pepperoni which made us happy! And the 12” was bigger than the most wood fired pizzas in the area. I enjoyed it but after the fact there wasn’t a lot about it that made it very memorable. Service was good and I liked that on a busy Saturday night they had parking spots blocked off for carry out pick ups. That was really convenient!

First time here….so Brian my waiter brought me two really good wings with grilled onions. Loved them. I ordered a 12” Carnivori…a meat lovers type pizza. It was excellent. Brian was very attentive. Food was brought out quickly. Lots of outdoor tables on two sides of the building. I was there at 6pm and all the tables were in the shade. Not sure how that happens. Definitely coming back when I’m in town.

Garlic knots, this bread has so much
potential, but falls short. The order arrived looking oh so good, a beautiful coloring, the oil and garlic, yum. However they were cool on outside and cold inside. We tried another order, slightly warmer. They are so tasty but not quite as expected. Take them to go, try microwave/air fryer at home.
And the pizza, both were good. Lovely crust, crispy edge on the pepperonis. Be aware the pizza sauce is crushed tomatoes not puréed, that is my preference.
Parking could be an issue, though I’ve a nearby space.
Overall I would return.

The new manager has transformed the restaurant’s process. The pizza can be produced in a short amount of time without compromising their terrific quality. We have tried 5 other pizzerias in the area but Anthony’s take out pizza is definitely the best.

Dont recommend. Manager told me this is the way the pizza should be cooked. Burnt??? Plus there was way too much sauce and pizza looked soggy. Gross . I order often and the consistency isnt great but this pizza was bad. I wont return. Quality of this restaurant has declined in just 6 months ive been visiting. There are better pies nearby: Andy’s and Timber Pizza are great!
