The quality of food has seriously gone downhill. The mountaineer burger was a sloppy mess with a stale/soggy bun. The side of fries was also very small. Overall disappointing experience.

The last place you can still get a “Tack’s” Cheese steak and “Tack Burger”.
As a Tack’s afficionado, I can attest the taste is on point with my memories, including that famous sauce. Roll could be a little better, but I am nitpicking and nostalgic for the old ATV Bakery rolls.
They also have the Cream Soda, as well as Cho-Cho’s, which weren’t a Tack’s staple but I loved getting as a kid from Pete’s on N 9th.
Heavy on the nostalgia here, including a Pac Man arcade game. Plenty of parking and comfortable seating inside. Give it a try and keep the Pennside Drive-In and Tack’s alive!

The best burger I have ever had ! I don’t know what they did to the fries, but they were just awesome too. My wife ate two burgers and wanted more.. She is already almost 200 pounds and Pennside is not helping

Unique and cute in a good way. A classic style diner and ice cream shop in one. Multiple milkshake flavors from hand dipped Hershey’s ice cream and milk. Good community engagement with providing space for car shows.

Ordered for the first time on DoorDash, Cheesesteaks are delicious rolls are soft instructions were followed and the East Reading sauce is out of this world, I highly recommend this establishment & will be ordering once again !
