The first time I went to this place the food and service were exceptional. I ordered the garlic fried rice and everything was on point. The staff was very nice and made every effort to get feedback and engage with the guests. Around a week later, I went for the second time and was extremely disappointed. As me and my friend walked in, we waited at the door for a bit to see if someone was going to assign us a table. Nobody did, and we proceeded to seat ourselves at a random table. The waiter, who was an older man, approached our table and was very confrontational and belligerent. He instructed us that they do not allow guests to seat themselves and that from next time we should wait to be assigned a seat. It must be noted that there was only 1 table at the whole restaurant that was occupied. His tone was very aggressive and all the other guests at the restaurant stopped eating to look at how he was talking to us. I am not sure there is going to be a next time. Anyways, as we sat down he reluctantly brought us 2 menus. We deliberated if we should still proceed to eat here, and agreed that we should just leave. After we left, he tried to follow us out of the restaurant, the purpose of which I do not know. I am sure this is a problem that can be fixed easily, although I’m not going to state the obvious and let the owners decide what that looks like.

I ordered spicy thaiger sauce (combo). It tasted fine but it had a very very strong odor which didn’t leave a good feel. The corn appetizer was okay. Red curry was okay

I don’t know much about Thai cuisine, so can’t judge the authenticity. I ordered a dish whose name I don’t even remember anymore lol. It looked pretty good, taste was good as well. Spice rating 5. The veggies and chicken were cooked optimally. Loved the shrooms. Portion size was good enough for the price. Courteous staff. Overall a good place to eat!

I liked the name, Angel wings. At first, I thought the name comes from Angel in heaven. But it was really interesting to see there were Angel noodles inside. It was really delicious and great portion. But Pad Thai and pad see ew were just ok.

I had the Panang Salmon curry and was satisfied with the meal. I appreciated the presentation and portion size, but the salmon seemed deep fried, not grilled as described, which meant it was an oil crisp. A pity, because it was supposed to be the highlight.

Simple instructions they can not do it , wouldn’t it be possible not to make the “Garlic Pepper(chicken)” spicy when I asked them to do so? Waited for an hour for it to be delivered. Paid for a white rice instead of this one. Simply make it not spicy and white rice, still failed. Shameful! 1st time to take an order here.. sucks!

Thaiger room has a memorable name, and that may be part of its charm. But beneath the buzz of college kids realizing thai food is good and cheap, thaiger room actually offers nothing special compared to the more reasonably priced som tam thai just up the road. Plus they refused my CSA card here but I’m not upset or anything

Some of the best Thai food in Seattle! My go-to order is the corn fritters, and either red curry or Pad Thai. The staff are always kind and the food is DELICIOUS! I was sad when they were temporarily closed some time ago around the height of the pandemic. Glad to see them open for business.

Loved the wide rice noodles! Good food at a good price! Was pretty spicy too! My friend got the 5 and he couldn’t even eat it, it was that spicy! But they said the chef could remake it, so great service. Very understanding and kind.

What a lovely little place, everything we had was wonderful too bad they don’t have spring rolls though. I thoroughly enjoyed
my Pad See Ew and the Steak salad was quite good. Our waitress was a very very good. The prices were more than reasonable. Would definitely eat here again when in the University District.
