Best yams I’ve ever had. Just like candy! Melt in your mouth cabbage. Greens were very good. I was only wanting sides and I love that they made me a plate like this. Portions were nice for sides. I received kind customer service. I’ll definitely be back to taste around the menu!

One of the best family owned and run restaurants in Cincinnati. The good is always fresshly made. Always well prepared, never over cooked or under cooked. It’s always presented packed nicely. Great menu of good ole home cooked soul food. Right in the heart of Madisonville on Madison rd. And now they are available on door dash!!! I’m going be broke, cause I’m bout spend all my little money I love this place !!!! I bought some salmon croquettes and fried whiting and collard greens and black eyed peas, and some left over for breakfast, and even better for breakfast. In fact I made me a salmon sandwich and had some fish left for lunch. I’m trying to tell you. Millie’s is FIRE!! It’s the TRUTH!!!! ❤️❤️

If you are looking for a hole-in-the-wall with great food, you should try this. It is not fancy by any means, but we loved our food and the serving size. It is quirky and homey. If I lived closer I would go there a lot!

Me and my father went yesterday and everything was so good! The portions are so big that you can have 2 meals out of them so that’s what we both did ! Everything is homemade and it makes ya feel all cozy and happy like your back at your family’s house eating great food ! We will definitely be back for sure

Good home cooking and plenty of it. The people serving the food were very nice. The young lady who greeted us was just ok. She did not explain where to how it worked. Just mumbled the price.

I went to Millie’s because I love soul food and it was my birthday. It was Sunday and I arrived at 1:00. The value for the buck is worth it. The food was good and greens were excellent. Service was good. Young lady who takes the orders could be more friendly. Seemed like we were bothering her. Overall I would good back. You get two meats 4 sides and a dessert. The potion are a great side and the wait wasn’t long. Oh did i mention the peach cobbler it was excellent. Almost like my grandmother made it. Keep up the good work!

Great home style restaurant. It felt like we stepped in our favorite cousins house for dinner. Very friendly staff and the soul food is full of flavor and soul. Had fish and fried chicken, black eye peas and was given a beautiful bonus…. a hearty golden piece of hot water cornbread. So satisfying and generous portions. Don’t forget to ask for Elijah’s potato salad! If you have room.

I hate to say this because I am and will always be a supporter of local businesses but, today was my first time trying this establishment and it was HORRIBLE. First of all the ordering is weird and after I paid I realized that I didn’t get a drink which normally when you place an order they at least ask if you would like one. When I asked about drinks I was told they only had water for $1.00. Okay I paid that and then a nice lady asked me what I got to drink I said water. She goes in the back to ask about drinks. She offers us Pepsi, lemonade or water. I said Pepsi please, thank you. Next I give the lady my order slip with my receipt then they start to prepare my meal. I ordered fried chicken (decent), turkey with dressing (no flavoring dough ball biscuit with a small piece of turkey on top of it like it was a garnish and gravy), mac and cheese (bland, tasted like processed cheese and weird) sweet potatoes (decent), greens (salty and undercooked, the stems were crunchy), potato salad (looked like a weird science experiment gone wrong and it was warm, tasted disgusting) cornbread muffin (dry and burnt), and a slice of lemon cake (small serving but, decent). The young lady who rung me up recommended these items after I inquired about what was good. I received my so called Pepsi and it was flat tasting and it was a generic cola drink it was not Pepsi. The ladies did check on us which I did appreciate but the food was horrible. I packed up my food and threw it in the garbage after I left it was a complete waste of money. I can tell everybody knows each other that works there because everybody was sitting around talking and eating which is great but, the food could definitely use some work. I love me some good soul food and this wasn’t it. I had high hopes but, I was extremely disappointed.
